Taekjoo escapes the island and later on needs Zhenyas help to expose the NIS director. During the mission Taekjoo realizes he cares for Zhenya and afterwards gives him a chance at a relationship. The second novel is all about their relationship issues as obviously their relationship stemmed in such an awful way
