it was all good but the ending as off. I get that harlequins like to end with marriage but in this case, i think it would have been more appropriate to officially say they are dating/going steady with marriage in mind.

are we supposed to know who this new guy is already? like was he mentioned before? the way the chapter ended made me think that. I even scrolled back up to see whatshername's name to check if they were somehow related. They aren't. I don't remember the queen's name nor how she looks; did she have red hair? maybe they're family.
He is the queen's younger brother, it's written right under his name. And he seems to be the head of the family and a serial killer. Hopefully those bodies weren't on Canaria and Cesar's side. (⊙…⊙ )
