The mere act of her pointing her finger at Wangfei is a sign of disrespect. You can't do that to someone who is of higher status. Unless you want to be punished. Some people need to learn that there are rules and etiquette to be followed during that time. Hell, even the way you breath could be punishable. I remember an episode of Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace where the concubine has to walk backwards from the Emperor because he's of higher status and you can't turn your back against him until he's out of sight. Also, none of them and their children are considered the real wife unless you're the Empress. Which is why most of them coveted her title.
