So I’m guessing everybody here is bilingual cause in chapter three they straight up just jumped from English to Korean for the last few panels and I don’t know WTF the blonde guy said. I thought I’d get a translation in the comments Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
100% not proper as I'm still learning and had to use an app for some words I didn't know for certain
Elliot Speech: "Ah (the sound effect) It was Elliot Brown..."
Elliot Thought Bubble: "Why don't you just say 'I love you, customer~♡' and leave"
Duke Bubble 1: "The gardeners new assistant,"
Duke Bubble 2: "Elliot Brown"
First read this in 2017 at fifteen and the amount of sobbing I did in my school library when I read the final chapters was actually very much insane. I told myself this afternoon that there was no way it was actually that sad; they both die at the end like the creator hinted at and that’s that so I thought it’s be fine if I read it again.
That was not just THAT. IDKY I thought I could handle this again; yes I concede that they probably didn’t love each other and this was definitely not a romance but do I believe that they both deserved happiness? Absolutely. Do I believe that they were both done dirty? YES. Bum had it bad and he want at fault for much but I still feel just plain depressed when I think of Samgwoo—his mother was a piece of disgusting work, man.
They both lead such sad lives up until that point and back then, when Sangwoo died, I was fifteen and twenty—the age I’m guessing he died at—seemed so ‘adult’. Now I’m verging on twenty-four and it’s actually so heartbreaking that he died like that at such a young age.
He should’ve just done a couple dozen years in prison and gotten therapy, not get murdered by some hag

I’d recommend reading this on Webtoon actually. The translations seemed a bit off to me when I first started reading it here so I bit the bullet and went to the app; with proper translations the story unfolds differently and it’s easier to understand. For example—and this is a simple one but the only one I can remember because I continued reading this on Webtoon after chapter two—in chapter one, when he’s confronted in front the gate of his grandma’s home by the chief he ask how he got in. The MC points up but doesn’t answer the question, instead saying something completely unrelated and confusing. In the official translations, he answers and says that he just jumped the gate while doing the action of pointing upwards. I get some people’s apprehension so I’m not saying you should definitely just go to make an account on Webtoon but it’s alright; I’ve only had to watch for ads for the four latest chapters out (60 through 64).
oh thanks for letting us know I had no idea this was on webtoon!
