I was in my first form of secondary school and the books in the library in the fiction section were meager. I found this and other installments of the series hidden away beneath a bookshelf. I’d sit on the floor in the back of the library to read it and then squeeze it back underneath there. The library didn’t have any other parts of the series or it was incomplete and back then social media wasn’t as big as it was now (I sound ancient but I’m in my early-twenties and in 2014 it wasn’t so easy to just go look up stuff) so I couldn’t find out more about it. I had a dream about this series some nights ago and couldn’t remember the name only to see it on the recently updated list today. I feel pretty happy and nostalgic and it helps that almost everyone else in the comments has the same/ a similar experience with it as I did.
They don’t make comics like this anymore (god I sound old but it’s true!)

The idea that he chose to keep his split identity so this dude you barely know wouldn’t have felt bad when the other disappeared is hella dumb. Granted we’re all well aware here about how messed up mentally the guy is anyways; it wasn’t a choice I can say he’d never have made in different circumstances.
Also I’d just like to note cause I haven’t seen anyone else mention it but it’s obvious that this was a rushed ending right? I doubt the artist/ authors meant for it to end so early.

Loved his reactions, I’d rate it a ten out of ten—now onto creepier things; who else believes that that dad killed his son or his son is dead because the illness finally snatched him and that there’s a maggot in that house? (●'◡'●)ﾉ I do and I think the drama’s gonna begin when Guwon eventually pummels the boys head in.
I watched it on YT back when they’d post anime’s in little four minute clips, the videos sequestered in one quarter of the screen. I was invested and thought it was the peak of animation. It’s a lucky thing my next anime after I watched all the episodes available for it happened to be Ouran Highschool Host Club. I summarily proven wrong about my ignorant assumptions and forgot all about it only to see it here on this site over ten years later. All I remember—because I will not be subjecting myself to this a second time by reading it—is that I was rooting for the boy that was her actual age. His name was Zero I think and he and the main character had more of a rapport than she did with the man that could’ve easily been her father.
Yeah (spoilers btw) zero and MC end up together- the actual issue came with the second couple, Ichi (2nd ml) and Rokka, a literal child SHE WAS CANONICALLY 5 YEARS OLD WHEN THEY MET he was 15. Then 10 years later they get together, she’s 15 he’s 25 like uhh she ain’t even done cooking after 10 whole ass years why tf did the author think that was a good idea. Main couple turns out fine, the side couple was WHACK.
