I haven’t read the most recent update but I just came here to share my shock; I didn’t know this wasn’t completed yet! To me I finished reading this about three years ago (or around the time when we couldn’t comment for about a year). So imagine my surprise when I saw ts in the recently updated list.
I can’t express how deeply I hate this new trend of putting up ‘placeholder chapters’. I literally was just thinking at chapter 26 ‘it’s a good thing there’s another chapter because I wouldn’t be able to handle this cliffhanger’ for there to be a BLOODY PLACEHOLDER CHAPTER RIGHT AFTER IT. It’s like it’s designed to solely piss me off because I can’t understand the logic behind it???
Its so the websites AI doesn't upload over the person. Sometimes people want their group's translation up and to not steal from other groups.
It's there to stop bots scraping from mtl sites. Ppl are gonna complain abt shit translations anyway if it happened. uploaders are not safe from any complaint in everything they do lmfao

yk whats even crazier? the fact that they literally say “PH” telling you its a placeholder, so there’s no reason for you to get your hopes up.
Right? Because I check the entire catalog when I see that something’s updated. I scroll down and instead of checking—because of course that’s the first thing in my mind, checking chapter titles and not just reading the bloody chapter—I just read what’s been updated. That’s my fault. For being too eager.
I can understand the frustration but yeah sadly it's there for a reason, if it was app Or something it wouldn't happen there but since it's a illegal website, they have to do this, .....we also have look at pov of uploader too

What you said makes no sense. Everyone sees the "PH" in the title immediately when they click a manga from the updates notification section bc it takes you to the main page of the manga, not the actual chapter itself. Unless some uploaders do not put PH in the title. It's also weird how you're not responding to any of the replies explaining why placeholders exist, it's like you know they're right
