I so much hate the uke. The end wasn't satisfactory for me at all.
The uke was so heartless towards the seme. He was an adult, he shouldn't have accepted to sleep with his student. At that time, he still believed he could throw him away whenever.

The seme is still a high schooler. So he's still a child. + It was his first love.
The seme is very persistent. Sure he agreed to suffer like that. But being a responsible adult, you wouldn't agree to sleep with him in those conditions.
Even the uke knows what he's doing is no good, when he's asking him if it is ok to take advantage of his feelings. Because that's what's his doing. He's only thinking about his own ass. He doesn't even care to set him free. Just try to imagine the sadness of the seme there.
I won't even comment on the fact that the uke is so adamant on liking a married straight man. He chose himself to make himself suffer like that.
He should know better than anyone how it feels to be in an unrequited love. And it's so many more painful to have the person around. I can't even imagine how it'd feel to be able to have sex with that person, but that person wouldn't even look at you. Why would the seme have to go over such an experience.
Since this manga isn't very "deep", and they'll eventually end up together, you wouldn't think of that as important... but it is...
Just try thinking if the uke never came to like the seme, and you'll have your answer. ^^

I think there is an extra lacking in the first volume.
Many people would think I'm just trolling, but I prefer Kan-chan to Yumi.
Maybe 'caus I started reading from the oneshot "Aazami - past Yumi x Kan".
It always appeared to me that Yumi never did LOVE Kan-chan, and Kan-chan was aware of it. He wasn't the first person in the heart of Yumi.
Also Yumi, aside from waiting didn't do anything for him. I can't help thinking that if he really loved him, he wouldn't have let him abuse him so much. Because in the end, it would hurt Kan-chan the most.
Kan-chan was suffering and just chose to close his eyes. Someway, Yumi was also trying to forget his first crush, staying with Kan-chan and enduring.
If he really loved Kan-chan and wanted to stay by his side forever, he would have done something to try and improve their situation. Which proves that, he never really wanted to support to the end. The proof being, he left him alone to suffer in that company for another 3 years, and finally found happiness with his first love.
Calm down. I'm not saying the abuse he went through was justified or that he doesn't deserve happiness. I'm just not a big fan of his cowardly personality.
And hearing all around people say: "Don't be mad at Kan-chan..."
How can people get mad at him... he's the most pitiful one, with the biggest heart.
Imagine yourself going through all that and not losing your mind while being alone all along, knowing the person that has the highest place in your heart is actually waiting for someone else. Yes, he was all ALONE. Yumi only played the part of a sitting duck, watching him sink more and more into madness.

Maybe I wouldn't have felt that if I have started with the first volume, and only saw Kan-chan like a secondary character who's had a spin off later cuz why not. But, for me he way the MC and my poor little baby that i wanted to PROTECCCCCCCT. :'))
