With just a few pannels the king has shown to be a much more interesting person and it's clearer why he's never 100% supportive of tarkan and why the queen is a complete bitch
I love that he's ruthless in a non tyrannical way, he's still making his sons compete for the throne, but at least he doesn't want them to murder each other lol

I really really sympathize with him bc it must not be easy to deal with such an unreasonable mother, but his manipulative nature is so irksome to me

Most people from asian countries aren't, which isn't an excuse to put out this kind of work, but it's one step to understand why they created this
I swear sometimes I see black people talking about their experiences in korea/japan and it's absurd how much they have to endure and be patient, bc people are being racist and best case scenario the person doesn't realize it's offensive to ask if their clothes gets "dirty" bc their skin is brown and worst case the person is being intentionally horrible and xenophobic

You know it just occured me this could've been a true harem kinda story
Make all of them attractive in their own way, have them help mc with his emotional issues, it would've been nice, seems like he deserves to be really loved

My guess is they were a harem (excluding Andante) for the previous guide, Dante's brother. If that was the case... Glasses was just the main husband and the others were the concubines or whatever the name for the male version

All of them love the mc and there isn't a preferred one
I can't believe I'll say this, since usually I'm a sucker for the genre...
But I really dislike the fantasy element in this story
They really didn't need the whole darkness thing at all
Magnus and Illiana could've had this conversation halfway through the story
The 2nd couple could've been introduced long ago (they're actually so cute)
All those 60+ chapters of the weird "is it romance or just emotional manipulation" could've been cut short, bc they left a bad taste and at least to me, it didn't feel like they made significant progress at all in their relationship
This part right now, at chapter 93, feels like it should've happened in the middle of the plot (around chapter 50)
Then we'd get like more 50 chapters of them actually developing their relationship
I genuinely did not give a single shit about who Illiana was previously, her mother background, the story of the village and anything related to magic and dreams
Also it takes a lot away from a character development to slap a big excuse of "he was being manipulated by the big evil entity the whole time"
I honestly would've liked more if Magnus was genuinely a fucked up traumatized person who didn't know how to deal with his mixed feelings for Illiana
Idk what's next or if there's more story after this "arch", but if this is the ending...

I like that it's pretty blatant she's not normal, even for a genius prodigy, so many other stories try to use humor or make the other characters dumb, in order to justify a frightening smart child
I really REALLY didn't like the scenes with the Patrick guy, he was too touchy with her (a six year old), even if he knows she's not a kid inside, it rubbed me off to see him acting like a male lead towards her
And one thing I love about this is the art
More specifically, when they draw the characters with really exaggerated dumb expressions lol
