Ash is a kid who grew up in a really fucked up environment and probably learned the harsher truths of life at an age even adults would struggle coping with

But he's still a kid
Which means he has no notion of consequences
He's very short sighted and despite being smart, he clings to the first person who extended their hand to him
I can't even imagine what kind of character he'll become in the future
Definitely a morally ambiguous character, with a giant fixation on Tracy, who'll do terrible things for her and proving he's "good"
And the ironic part to me is that all characters so far have also been morally the
I think by the end of the story, we're all gonna have a lots of reasons to love and hate every character that appears

He's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. He stated a few chapters back that he wasn't willing to let her be diposed, or get divorced, because it took so much shit to get her that position in the first place.
She's a commoner. The nobles would have been ok with her as a concubine or mistress, but fought with the royal family against making her Helios' wife.
If Diana loses her position because of the nobles, that will weaken the power of the royal family, which the king is trying to stop.
I'm really appalled by her "real" family

To be honest I'd understand if she chose to save somebody else's life in the end and quite literally free herself from everything
I hope we get a little bit more comfort or fluff, bc I wish she could live a good life, no matter where she chooses to be
I'm also cheering for Calisto, he's been at her side for a while now, because her connections feel too surface level right now
She seriously needs support
I wish we were all isekaied to help her survive, forget romance, this girl needs friends
