I'm also cheering for Calisto, he's been at her side for a while now, because her connections feel too surface level right now
She seriously needs support
I wish we were all isekaied to help her survive, forget romance, this girl needs friends

But I still like it, it's just a silly love story
You can tell this author makes great smut
But their real passion is psychological horror
I mean, Albie actually had a somewhat healthy conclusion when confronted with the fact he's probably gonna die and another Blake will "substitute" him (I'm sure he's not, but that's what he believes right now)
Which is "I'll make sure you remember me"
That's way better than his father, who started obsessing over immortality
I feel like the author is still finding their balance between lore, fluff and horror, because we're drastically shifting from one to another multiple times
It's a weird pace, a bit rushed, but to be honest I don't dislike it
It's one of those unusual stories you just gotta let the author cook and enjoy the ride

Sure, she went through hell and back, but that doesn't make her a pitiful person, she doesn't need a white knight to rescue her, she needs a partner who'll stand WITH her
Tbh Lyrica is the first of her family to break generational traumas, responding with emotional maturity instead of more toxic behavior
Her mom tries, and she's certainly way better than in the best life, but she's nowhere near Lyrica in terms of being aware of her own feelings and wants
Her pursue for money and power is understandable, because throughout all her life, that's what helped her the most
But that's exactly the problem, you can't count on only money, power and your faith in a child to live as a healthy person
I know people tend to hate Lydia (I think that's her name?), but she's such a well written character, as Lyrica said, she's imperfect and beautiful in her way
Lyrica by herself would make this an exceptional isekai story, but Lydia makes this an exceptional fictional narrative
I've read books and comics that don't have this care and attention to character development
I can't wait to see how both of them grow and deal with love, hate, happiness, grief and everything in between

I know this isn't supposed to be super realistic, but it's one of those times where I question the depth of the characters
Like saying "she's so smart!", and the character in question will act like a clown who has one "aha" moment that was really obvious
He's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. He stated a few chapters back that he wasn't willing to let her be diposed, or get divorced, because it took so much shit to get her that position in the first place.
She's a commoner. The nobles would have been ok with her as a concubine or mistress, but fought with the royal family against making her Helios' wife.
If Diana loses her position because of the nobles, that will weaken the power of the royal family, which the king is trying to stop.
