I think the part that broke was the loop that goes around the ankle so thats why he replaced it with the handkerchief! Though tbh with most heels that loop is generally for looks and the heel should fit anyways but oh well

I'm okay with the way ginger is now because no matter how hard she tried to be sly or trick the main lead he will know. If he knows from the start what she is truly like, then there is no betrayal or dishonesty, which I find enjoyable. He knows that she has an ego and might be greedy. She has her flaws but he can see that upfront and know what he is getting into instead of finding out about it later. I like her flaws. Idk why but I like the less nice FL more.
