Athy’s mother does not tell Claude that, it was Claude saying that to her mother. He didn’t want her to die because it was obvious from what he said that it was a risk pregnancy. So there was a chance that she was going to die while having Athy and he wanted her to choose to live for him. Plus, looking at her in that scene, you can tell she’s not that far along so he probably wanted her to abort the baby.

Agree with you but I think you misread that part, It was Claude telling that to Diana since Athy's magic was eating her life, he was basically telling her to abort the baby and choose him instead.
Honestly jaeha was a victim from the start of this story like he was an innocent boy until taeshitoh messed him up and that’s why in turn he messed up yoseob even more. I get taeshitoh had his own problems but he was too late and too little.

I get Mafuyu needs time to heal but it’s also very exhausting how every chapter all boils down to yuki. The past can’t be forgotten sure but why does it feel like they are all still revolving around yuki? And now hiragi dragged Ue into that circle too. It was cruel of him to ask Ue to finish the song. He might be the right choice in how he can understand yuki’s love for Mafuyu but like Ue’s sis said it’s like a love letter from his ex. Hiragi comes up as selfish and someone who doesn’t think about his actions until it’s too late type. Mafuyu needs to get straight with the present. The past is important but so is the present and he should focus on Ue a bit more otherwise there’s gonna be a huge fight in the future.
