I may be in the minority but I don’t ship it. I want to see Doyeon try with someone her age or two years older or younger. That’d be interesting too. She only let herself be vulnerable with Jinjoo because she displayed a deep loneliness Doyeon felt, Doyeon sees herself in Jinjoo, and it’s like filling Jinjoo’s loneliness is like filling her own. I want to see her be truly vulnerable with someone and let them in and love her.
I'm the same. And personally, I don't mind age gap, but Jin Joo is just... You meet someone her age and they still act dependent and unable to deal with life's problem like that. AND still having to rely on some girl much younger than her. She's indecisive and can't see that her husband is the problem?? And what is up with her lack of personality? So much thought bubbles and zero action to fix her issues.

I don’t think that’s the point the author was trying to make by having this happen. Yoshino obviously knows very little when it comes to intimacy. This was a way to have her get a sense of that before things continued to escalate between them. The last time they had a moment similar to this was in chapter 25.2 when him putting hand cream and licking her palms made her shiver/shudder. Even in this recent chapter, she actually allowed it to go on for a few seconds before she panicked. She’s definitely been more receptive to him for a while now.

2. When his hand went across her stomach before he touched her breasts, she actually remained still. The shuddering and the waiting were a specific call back to the scene they had in chapter 25.2. The author is making a point here that this didn’t completely terrify her. That she had a reaction to that which was ant solely characterized by fear.
I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m working on my first novels as well, but the purpose of a scene like that would be to have the FL aware of what that would feel like. However the author did quite obviously plan for this to be a glimpse into the direction that their relationship is about to take so it’s wtvr I guess.
