You guys have to remember that even though she is 27 years old, she went back in time and now has the brain of a 7 year old girl who is not yet developed. One way to understand this is to think of her as a child of 7 years old with memories of 27.

He died after years of fighting the illness. As you can see the body on the bed is his grown up body.
Her parents probably take him to different hospital in other city, that’s why MC was not able to meet him and the hospital said he is discharged.

Probably because he wanted or was allowed to go out for the last time when his diagnosed having only couple days before death.
I remember my brother-in-law asked to eat an instant noodle as his last wish when he was in the hospital after waking up from his comatose. He pass away 1 month after that.
