Is it just me, or do some of the characters look gray sometimes? It's not just me right?

I feel like meat back then was-not also a delicious source of protein that no poor human should be deprived of lest they want to-seen as a status symbol; the more you had, the richer you were. It was most likely harder to get meat back in that time so it was probably higher. If you didn't have enough money, you hunt it(if you can); barter for it; or eat like those people at the luncheon, but less fancy.
With Diana preparing the food like that, she's not only showing blatant disrespect to the foreign delegates by having straight veggies with no variety, but it can also be seen or interpreted as saying that "We're shit poor," "Too stingy to share," or "Directly looking down on them." There's a time and place-and that wasn't it!
It also shows a lack of consideration for the delegations' cultural palettes because, knowing Diana's character by now, she probably prepared the veggies in accordance with her kingdom's/empire's taste only and not the delegations. Having a variety of different foods(meat & veggies)is also a kind of consideration. Something on the plate or how it was cooked could be an offense to their culture and/or religion.
Meat was common back them, the thing is what kind of meat the preparation, preservation etc, commoners eat from bones to skin, cuz when they hunt they are risking their life's, the farmed animals were eaten only in extreme necessity or if they were not productive otherwise anymore so they have to make it worth it
But Diana believes food should be enjoyable....well she is religious so in her head by making the food without sugar or seasoning and the most plain as possible she is "helping" them to not be "seduced" by it...her religious seems to be the "you have to get away of worldly things to reach heaven/nirvana/paradise/eternal bliss" type

Uhh i don’t remember it being specifically mentioned, but it was heavily implied that the princess was just spoiled and loved by the people. A lot of other nobles (though she was female) backed her in being the next empress. Ofc it wasnt true her father just loved her a lot never thought about giving her the crown and neither did she want it. Ig the people talking gotten into the brothers mind and thought if i want to be COMPLETELY sure its mine might as well kill them. Which tbh is all due to his superiority complex quite stupid of him (︶︿︶)＝凸

If you go back to the first few chapters, you see the scene where Ritter bites and injects his venom into her and rips out the stone from her wrist while the queen is present. I just couldn't remember if they mentioned the reason earlier on in the story or if it wasn't mentioned yet. And most people put the "Spoiler Warning " in regards to things like this, though it is true that some don't-but that's a risk everyone takes when scrolling through the comments.
And actually, the answer to my question wouldn't even be a spoiler because it's just a yes or no-either you know, or you don't know. Unless ,maybe, they read some raws or a light novel somewhere and over shared in the comments (I don't know if there is a light novel or raws for this, but there usually is, so...); you can't control what people say or write so again, that's just a risk you-and others-take when going through the comment section.

There are some jokes that others just won't get, especially if it's related to a specific field of knowledge, certain age group, or way of life that others outside of it wouldn't know or generally-if at all-do. I could see using 'dumb bitch' as a joke among a close group of friends and/or family, but between strangers? That's a bit much, especially since I'm reading it.
