I dont like it. I mean.. not the part with him walking into enemy territory to prove his love, thats cool and all. it just feels like Marlene's plan relies on taken advantage of Lili's weakened state due to the full moon, hopeful it will make him more receptive to forgiving him. it would be more impactful if this was a speech being delivered to a person who's sober and rational, his decision not being influenced in any way by other factors outside just his own thoughts/feelings. that would make this touching reunion between them more emotionally fulfilling. my fujoshi instincts are telling me the conflict will conclude with passionate break up sex after a mostly one sided speech followed by some sweet nothings, slowly breaking down coyotes defenses until he collapses emotionally under the pressure of his horneyness and inevitably fucks him (all according to ML's keikaku) but it feels slightly sexually coercive when I say it out loud.

I would have told him to keep the pic. some possible embarrassment from being caught in a compromising situation Vs having to lower yourself to some manipulative chad who just blackmailed you into sucking him off, I'd rather keep my dignity. there wasn't even any real assurance he would follow through with his end of the bargain, he could have very well just have kept using it against him in the future to do whatever making ho into his bitch. so yeah, fuck that.

I heard the mc gets kidnapped, tries to run away but then ml catches and rapes her repeatedly? even some of his friends get in on the action eventually. how the mc ever trusts him or anyone else after that, I will never know but I can imagine a revenge route in which she leads him on only to betray him in the end (sounds way better conclusion to this train wreck of a story tbh) the ml is domineering, controlling and possessive and I'm willing to bet the mc is his opposite, she's passive and easily won over by small things she's naive and not the brightest tool in the shed. buts its all okay because of the fluff effect in which the manga depicts small scraps of kindness he throws at her feet as redemption. never mind how unbalanced the power dynamics are in the relationship or how little agency she has in making choices for herself. sick of authors sugar coating physical/emotional abuse away with "with the power of love, everything is forgiven" what a horrible message to send.

seems people are getting a bit peeved at the mc for not immediately being grateful for every unwanted gift he's given her, every servant he killed for bullying her, for not falling at his heels and gushing for every bit of special attention she's been given from him? that's not how a relationship works, it sounds more like a business transaction. also when they first met he threatened to kill her, those kind of experiences stick with you. yes he's trying to make up for it now, but that doesnt make you forget what he was like when she first met him. if his 180 change in behavior towards the mc confused some readers, I can only imagine how nonplused aruem but be feeling by all of it. I can't believe how many people are making exceptions for his actions because of the fluff effect and completely disregarding the MC's feelings, people are suckers for pitiful good looking male leads with edgy/tragic backstories. is this edward cullen all over again?

Well I want them to have happy ending but I totally agree with all you said it is like ya know first crush that controls every move you do so they will like you back. I think it is kind of cute and I like him as character but even I am confused by his actions and MC at all !! I like her she is not typical MC in manga she has brain and that makes me happy yup

ML: "I see what you mean.." well I dont. now if he had seen her using MAGIC attempting an escape from the compound I could see him viewing her a bit differently from the rest, but all she did was act like her ditzy pink haired friend. just lots of dramatic emoticon faces to everything he said (/TДT)/ Σ( ̄□ ̄||) Σ(っ°Д °;)っ what did she do that was so significant it earned that recognition from him? it feels so forced.
but if your just here for the smut and to see the rape apologists tripping over themselves in the comments, its fine I suppose.
