They want to see sexy daddy reunite with his daughter again; they want lucas back and they want it to happen RIGHT! NOW! just saying. seems like they aren't interested in conflict, natural plot progression or any other development outside just the main characters. all these people complaining about the arc really are such downers, kind of sick of reading their complaints.

the fan favorite is Lucas (who seemed to be crucial to the plot) and since he hasn't been shown in a while fans be getting rowdy! this arc isn't getting love because people aren't that fond of Jennette magrita (whos name I keep pronouncing as Jennette margarita because I don't know how to grammar) she's a pretty plain naive character who was going to be kinda unlikable since the beginning because of the whole take athys spot thing so this arc was doomed to be unlikable but I'm kinda enjoying it because we have this mysterious villian man with a background that I wanna known about

why does it have to get to the point where FL breaks down crying before ML takes her rejection/words seriously? I've seen this occur in other smut too. does he get a boner in the morning because he consents to it? its a biological reaction, so fucking gross. yea its "smut" I get it. but why cant there be less rape all the same? it was because she cherished their relationship she didn't want to do anything reckless on impulse but he was in a hurry to throw all that out because he was thinking with his dick ( ̄▽ ̄)

yet they do nothing but bash and complain about her existence. just be honest. your petty and irrationally hating on a character for no valid or justifiable reason other then MEH EMOTIONS. we would hardly notice her presence in the story at all if people would only stop talking about her ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Edit: lol some biased little snowflake already proved by point by instantly down voting.

Dude. Why are u making such a big deal out of people not liking a character. It’s a CHARACTER for Christ’s sake. It’s not like its hurting anyone. At first I thought that you were just sharing your opinion but you keep appearing to oppose people’s comments. Everyone have their own opinions so give it a rest.

"why are u making such a big deal out of people not liking a character"
I'm making a "big deal" over the issues their making about it. once and a while? okay but complaining about her existence in the story EVERY chapter? and from what I've seen none of the reasons they give for not liking her are good enough reasons by my standards. they are shallow and whiny mostly "shes so happy even tho athy isn't shes so selfish" see? it just screams bias. they like athy and side with her and any other female character in the way of that happiness must be an evil "bitch" to them. its just the close mindedness around this topic that turns me off
I mean we go from a repetitively lighthearted arc with little action some funny comic relief and then BAM! their telling some teenage girl to slit her own throat and acting like NOT raping her first is a generous blessing (different times different morals yea yea) I get that when your conquering a nation your going to have to basically kill a lot of people who get in your way to do it, but just before all of this they were saying they wanted to avoid bloodshed if necessarily, thats why they made the bet with the king. their quick 180 change of attitude and how quickly they moved on from the events afterwards threw me off (it was a moment of cognitive dissonance that made it harder for me to really relate to the characters).. disappointed me I guess, I know the schemy king dude forced their hand but I guess I was just kind of expecting better from the "Hero's" of this story we are supposed to be cheering for and the narrative keeps hammering in; "its okay, they are SAVING people from war!" but I feel like the princess shouldn't have had to pay for whatever decision that bastard made. she didn't seem to have much opinion on her country's fate. anyway I get why they did it but I can still feel empathy for the fate of other characters, no matter how minor and I dont think other people who mentioned feeling similarly put off about these things were wrong in feeling that way.
i though it was perfectly fine. its historically accurate because when a someone revolts against the emperor, you kinda have to kill their entire family after killing the revoltee (to ensure his safety). many sacrifices must be made to attain true peace and order (and this emperor clearly knows what kinds of choices to make). also “sparing the princess humiliation” does not equal rape (if you really look at the characters, you can understand that they wouldn’t even do that in the first place).
True, I keep forgetting that they're in a ear and not just royals and army men mixed together
That is very sad to say, but unfortunately for them, that is the wisest decision.
Killing the family of the rebellious leader was to ensure avoiding another revolt, lead by revenge and that could cause even more victims. Even if the princess herself didn’t want to, people could still use her name to do that, so in order to avoid more casualties, it’s simpler to end her life...
Yes it is very distasteful...
yo this era is different yall already see how paulina almost got raped in a broad daylight, whats the use of letting the daugher of that king be alive when it can make a conflict in the future, not to be sound heartless but way back some actually got hanged on public or head being chopped off to let the public know the punishment for betrayal of the royalties. (been reading drama, novel and manga/webtoons with storyline like this so i kinda get why the kings did it) the king is kind already with how he let the girl suicide instead and paulina helped her die in instant and not make mistake since she can feel more pain if she didn’t do it right.
i don't think it was that they were going to rape her, it is more that they couldn't guarantee the other soldiers wouldn't. she didn't force the princess to commit suicide, she just offered it as an alternative to being a hostage or getting executed.
