because they aren't the same page at all. wolf pup really plays up the innocent and childlike aspect of his character to mask how rather inconsiderate he can be; she said she needed time to think dude an- IS THAT A DATE RAPE DRUG!? NOOOOooo! you haven't even properly addressed the issue with each other! why are you rushing ahead? wtf (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 TALK. IT. OUT. DAMMIT!

because people always make it about her, its not healthy its like some obsession. it doesnt matter whether jennette is a good/bad morally as a person or whether she is right or wrong, they aren't judging her based on such standards. they hate her for... wait for it.. being too NICE xD new people coming into this series might have thought she was some serial axe murderer or evil seductress with how much credit they give her. in any case if shes not that interesting why wont this particularly small but loud sub portion of the fandom shut up about her? I dont like or hate jennete but I am TIRED of rehashing this conversation. I actually left to read somewhere else for a while because this comment section is just an echo chamber, its so hard to find the reasonable comments inside this shitstorm.

I think the author is mainly to "blame" for that. Jeannette per sé is not evil, and she is a truly nice girl, but the author insists on making her the third wheel instead of developing her relationship with her real father. She is trying to insert her whenever she can just to develop drama but after so long people are starting to get really tired because it's dragging. Even Koreans fans who are usually super nice and understanding, after the last chapter started to complain because instead of moving the plot they are using Jeannette as a plot device to stir up things.
BTW nnnng Lily and Felix own my heart. I really want a special about the two of them. In the novel they don't get together, but I hope spoon will change that because they are like my favorite ship in the manwha.

there is a reason they are having the three together like this, I dont think of it as it being about creating drama more so then its being setup for a character realization. claude is doing better now sure but he's clearly still rejecting his past, jennette is still somewhat necessary for this.
they can dislike the pace of the story thats fair but thats hardly on jennette. in any case this is still one of the better webtoons I have read so I have faith the author can pull off whatever they are trying to do.

Tbh I'm pretty sure everything will end up well for everyone. Spoon has already hinted many times that Anastacius will love Jeannette so I'm not worried that Claude will love her, because that obviously won't happen since we already saw that he doesn't like her. Lol. As for the dragging part, people are frustrated and they reverse their frustration on Jeannette since atm she is (unconsciously) a wall between them. I too have to admit, I felt quite annoyed during this chapter, because I was hoping for some fluff and got drama instead ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

They sadly don't because it had something to do with a knight duty. Like he had to remain celibate or something. But Spoon ships them too so I'm positive that we will see some sparks and I can't wait! ლ(´ڡ`ლ) Also Korean is not hard, I think you can learn. The worst part is the grammar since it's a lot different from English

I mean I don't hate her, I never did. but I won't lie and say I enjoy seeing her making Athay in some way miserable. of course it isn't her fault at all, but it is frustrating to read, and there is nothing wrong in admitting that.
it is frustrating to see Claude giving attention to Jeannette without har doing anything instead of Athay that needs it so much! whatever you like her or not, it is what it is, frustrating until Claude will stop been in daniel. again it isn't his fault or Athay fault or Jean fault.

not a fan of this "doctor abuses patients trust and takes advantage while hes weakened" subplot. as far as I'm concerned the intoxicated cant be trusted or in the thought of "in the right mind" to make decisions for themselves. Yes, I count that as rape.

TBH, it's not just the plot, it's also the way it's handled? Usually yaoi softens or romanticizes stuff, e.g. "oh, he didn't MEAN to take advantage of the drunk cutie, but he's been in love with him for 7 years and he was just SO CUTE." So you don't end up taking it all that seriously, just rolling your eyes.
In this case, it almost feels like date rape. Like, he deliberately got the guy drunk and probably only listened to his trauma so he could manipulate him into sex, which just leaves a bad aftertaste.
MC: I have a recommendation for some new help for the palace
Dowun: Ok.

Dowun: ok...
MC: It would make things easier on you this way too.
Dowun: Why do I hear boss music?
