this was such a good portrayal of a healthy relationship with a lot of consent and respect and I adored it. wish there was one more volume exploring their relationship as a couple but ,, oh well
it was interesting and at least a little funny at first,, but things started to get boring and worrisome very quickly actually,,, like- there were so many ways to make this interesting and cute, but instead, we got whatever this is.
it has quite a few volumes and it still feels rushed (and slow at the same time,,, I don't know how the author did it). most characters also have no dept, and just appear because. and even the main ones have a strange character development,,
it was actually a big disappointment,,
really adorable but I gotta be honest I was a bit disappointed when the romance aspect of it remained as a one sided silent crush. I'm happy with their growth as characters but still, felt like there was more that could be shown to us, instead, we have to hope and imagine what could be. I think my main problem with this is, I don't believe they will be together unless something different happens, just because I know he, as a person, would never mention he's in love. I would be okay with an open ending that showed more possibilities, like the other sort of discovering it, but they don't talk on screen and we just see the "biggest fan" scene and it ends with hope for them as a couple. I still quite like it, don't get me wrong, as I said, if you want to see great character growth, this is really good, but yeah.
I didn't like their beginning and how rushed the "love" is, and how there's no reason for us to believe they even like each other besides the horniness they feel,, until the lion guy says he's in love and like. no. first off, you were in love with his image and performance, and we never get to actually see much more than that. AND IT'S A FUCKING SHAME. cause the setting is interesting, the characters are interesting and GORGEUS LIKE DAMN and they're actually fucking adorable after they get together (and a tiny bit before that). the fact that you only needed to change a few things and add some others to make this story actually amazing, bothers me the most. for example, their first time together, instead of making the lion dude do what he does, make yoru take the first steps to satisfy the costumer and show how it bothers the lion dude but it also pains him that he just can't make the other stop etc. and after that we ACTUALLY see them learn more about each other outside of sex. instead of that we get a I'll fuck you roughly constantly and then tell you it was all because I love you oh so very much. be for real. oh but he's so kind. WHERE. don't just tell us that, show it. if he's so kind, why are the dudes from the beginning still in hell (was the newspaper about them? I've no idea). why does he force yoru constantly. but also, why are the servants saying that? what happened with them for them to believe that? SHOW US. and if it's supposed to be more in shadow, at least tease it more.
also,, just a side thing but, does he dance with or without music??
I don't even know how many stars to give it, but I'll put probably one more than it should because the extras (especially the orange one) are adorable,, and the art and characters are divine.
the fact that you can see how much the author likes these characters and this is the result,, the little notes on some of the drawings about the characters were more interesting than the whole story, I'm sorry.

I did. Your take is still ass when you consider most bl mangaka don't get to have a license for more than one volume due to societal constraints.
Just 'cause we get a lot more bl series than we did before doesn't mean that they still don't have to fight tooth and nail for the crumbs they get to produce.
If you get more than one volume to delve deeply into a character's background and more interesting conflicts you should be grateful for the mangaka and their team for being able to do so.

this was really good apart from the bisexual erasure. bisexual people exist, and many discover that fact about themselves later in life. but it was really good, wish it was longer since there were quite a few things left to resolve (such as being actually official (with words), dealing with the mom, dating while working, sexuality discovery, backgrounds, etc)
BUT I LOVE THE COMMUNICATION AND HOW REAL THE FEELINGS SEEM. and also, the bar is low, but I loved that they didn't start with blackmail or rape,, even though that's where it seemed it would go,,, sigh,,
THIS IS SO GOOD ! the portrayal of their love and worries is really well done, and I just really love them as a couple, they're so adorable. really excited for the rest of the new volume, but also, really hoping it doesn't ruin this story and characters aaah. I have hope ~
hm,,, it's fine. not great unfortunately. even though it has some interesting concepts and views, it's a bit boring and their feelings are just a bit too blurry. I think it could be better with more prior development or more to the story itself.
unfortunately, I had to force myself to finish this, and that's when you know.
everytime the brother came on screen I got repulsed. fucking your brother's boyfriend just to show him you can and they should break up is more than fucked up. he should have had more redeeming qualities and scenes. and besides feeling like we should have had at least ONE scene of them filming their videos,, the asexual erasure is really not it. but! despite that !
the main couple is so adorable they can have 4 stars. I love that yuzu loved yachiro's belly and was sad to see it go away ahah,, and also, it seems small but, making the plus sized character wanting to change for himself, since he didn't like how he looked, and to feel more confident next to his lover, is real and so much better than if it was the other way around (as many do). it was refreshing. and them having so much trouble with penetration? I loved that ahah.
but honestly. the moment he thought his brother had fucked his new lover was quite bad,, I would have been more than pissed. it's fine to cry but to make it seem like all he cared about was that he remained a virgin was a weird way to put it?,, like,, making him mad and extremely disappointed at both of them or something like that would be so much better,, but whatever ~
I don't think you can say Yachiro "wanted to change for himself." Sure, he was the one up for it, but it's all because of the mindset that "Yuzuha should date someone hot like himself. Therefore, to be hot, I cannot be fat." The way it's treated is actually quite unsettling if you stop to think that while Yuzuha seems to like Yachiro just fine even before losing weight, the whole thing of "needing to lose weight to become handsome/hot" is treated as just the normal, go-to mind-set. Internet calls Yachiro ugly for being fat and Yuzuha goes "ye but he's nice tho :/"
yeah. you're right. it's such an awful thing they love to put in these stories, that even though it still sucks, I thought it was mostly fine cause the bar is so fucking low ,, like damn.
