THIS IS SO GOOD ! the portrayal of their love and worries is really well done, and I just really love them as a couple, they're so adorable. really excited for the rest of the new volume, but also, really hoping it doesn't ruin this story and characters aaah. I have hope ~
hm,,, it's fine. not great unfortunately. even though it has some interesting concepts and views, it's a bit boring and their feelings are just a bit too blurry. I think it could be better with more prior development or more to the story itself.
unfortunately, I had to force myself to finish this, and that's when you know.
everytime the brother came on screen I got repulsed. fucking your brother's boyfriend just to show him you can and they should break up is more than fucked up. he should have had more redeeming qualities and scenes. and besides feeling like we should have had at least ONE scene of them filming their videos,, the asexual erasure is really not it. but! despite that !
the main couple is so adorable they can have 4 stars. I love that yuzu loved yachiro's belly and was sad to see it go away ahah,, and also, it seems small but, making the plus sized character wanting to change for himself, since he didn't like how he looked, and to feel more confident next to his lover, is real and so much better than if it was the other way around (as many do). it was refreshing. and them having so much trouble with penetration? I loved that ahah.
but honestly. the moment he thought his brother had fucked his new lover was quite bad,, I would have been more than pissed. it's fine to cry but to make it seem like all he cared about was that he remained a virgin was a weird way to put it?,, like,, making him mad and extremely disappointed at both of them or something like that would be so much better,, but whatever ~
I don't think you can say Yachiro "wanted to change for himself." Sure, he was the one up for it, but it's all because of the mindset that "Yuzuha should date someone hot like himself. Therefore, to be hot, I cannot be fat." The way it's treated is actually quite unsettling if you stop to think that while Yuzuha seems to like Yachiro just fine even before losing weight, the whole thing of "needing to lose weight to become handsome/hot" is treated as just the normal, go-to mind-set. Internet calls Yachiro ugly for being fat and Yuzuha goes "ye but he's nice tho :/"
yeah. you're right. it's such an awful thing they love to put in these stories, that even though it still sucks, I thought it was mostly fine cause the bar is so fucking low ,, like damn.
they're so dumb but also so cute together,, would have loved to see even more of them together dealing with life and whatnot but for what it is, it's quite nice and simple.
it became a bit too rushed in my opinion, if the story had a few more chapters we wouldn't feel that so much, but still- I enjoyed it. really feel like it's too short for it's own good, but it was a fun, interesting, time.
Agreed. I'd argue that a lot of the authors work is like that. The concepts are super interesting but then gets really rushed towards the end.
Yeah I actually agree with this! It's exactly as you said this author has some really interesting stories but they always end up feeling rushed after completion, I still really enjoy their stuff though
their relationship developed into something so precious. and even though it's not perfect it's quite nice on a whole,, I just want to add that my favorite scene is probably the one where, in fox form, hinata is protecting the cave and his lover. that scene gave me chills.
(and as someone wrote already, I do feel like some of the sex scenes do bring this story down a bit for no reason)
hope there's more. this is really cute, and would love to see both the wedding as well as their more kappa like forms,, (I'd also love to get more insight about the beings that lived with the brothers when they were younger,,, but unfortunately I'm not confident that will happen)

heh. I thought the main story was,,, mostly okay. but when I thought it would get better, it suddenly ended and we were following some other characters (which I didn't have the energy for atm) like- sure. unfortunately, nothing especial. not to mention the amount of assault coming from the doctor and the fact tachibana said he was homophobic but a dream changed him?? ahshsjdj that's hilarious but like- nah brother. he's not their son anymore forget it.
this was really good apart from the bisexual erasure. bisexual people exist, and many discover that fact about themselves later in life. but it was really good, wish it was longer since there were quite a few things left to resolve (such as being actually official (with words), dealing with the mom, dating while working, sexuality discovery, backgrounds, etc)
BUT I LOVE THE COMMUNICATION AND HOW REAL THE FEELINGS SEEM. and also, the bar is low, but I loved that they didn't start with blackmail or rape,, even though that's where it seemed it would go,,, sigh,,
