The uke's really relatable. In modern society, a human's worth and purpose is to contribute to society. They feed you with this narrow-minded thought, the current education system and especially parents who only cares about their child's grades. You just work all your days away, not wanting to throw what you have away, since it's the only life you know how to live. Sometimes, I think it's better not to be philosophical, I'm from a third-country after all, and others just seem to be happy with how things are---not having any existential crisis.
On the other hand, this isn't really my cup of tea, yanderes I mean, since they'll just gloss over the kidnapping and the rape. I'm glad they got together, this is just fiction anyway. But if it were me I'd pick girl seriously. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I FXKING LOVE THIS! IT WAS SO CUTE AND FLUFFY, AND FUNNY AND HOT AT PARTS! MINE IS JUST TOO UWU AND CHARMING, I LOVE HOW HE'S THE ONE MAKING HACHI, THE SEME, FLUSTERED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. HACHI IS THOUGHTFUL TOO AND DEVELOPED A LOT.
THE ASSAULT SCENE KINDA TURNS ME OFF THOUGH, BUT THAT PHONE SEX WAS JUST ლ(´ڡ`ლ)!

If Jihyun and Chiwoo's gonna end up together, or if there's another version with them together then (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
I'll be done with this author . . . I'm gonna give up yaoi anyways.

Same I'm done with that whole story cuz like who tf falls/forgives there rapist cuz sum1 I know (not saying who they are to me but) got raped and didnt forgive them and if the author does that the story gunna be so unrealistic smh and plus the rapist forgot his name made him fall of a flight of stairs so the whole thing gunn be fucked up but I can't give up on yaoi I cant give up yaoi thats the o my thing keeping me alive

I got mad since someone said that the author is gonna set up Chiwoo and Jihyun to be together like wth (i think it's fake). . . I saw the raws of this and am satisfied, it's just 7 chapters and completed. It's just Jihyun metting up with Chiwoo and Jihyun crying. . . And the other version of Chiwoo and Jihyun ending up together, like you said will definitely be unrealistic, I mean the rape and depression was just glossed over by the author!
I can't believe some people disliked my comment lmao

Same because I don't think anybody I real life would fall for there rapist or even forgive them and its just way TOO unrealistic and it should've just been "extra" or like not apart of the story but idk if its actually apart of the story
(Oh so theres 2 versions in it I didn't really understand so could you explain that part please)

There's a second part of Back to School (the orig. story), someone said that the author's planning for Chiwoo and Jihyun to end up together in the end. But it didn't so yay. It's completed and has only 7 chapters.
There's the second version the author said she's going to make, which ought to be Jihyun x Chiwoo from the start.

Why the fck are people shipping and justifying Jihyun!? If you want a toxic relationship then go ahead and make your life miserable! Seriously, why isn't he having therapy or in a mental institution? He has anger issues and he's harming a lot of people. He doesn't love Chiwoo, that's obsession! And he goddamn raped him!
Just nitpicking: I know it's his dad's fault that he's like that. Afterall, Bad parents make bad children. Jihyun didn't have to say it to his father that it was his fault, it could've been his brother or the teacher. it's bad storytelling and it's awkward.

Yep, but even if he's like that, rape is still inexcusable. I honestly don't understand why parents would want to raise children if they're just going to abuse them. The author is even going to make a Jihyun x Chiwoo . . . Just no. Those shippers are disgusting . . . I believe they're in their teens.

I agree with you in the aspect that Jihyun and Chiwoo should not end up together. I emphasize with Jihyun and all but I wouldn't go as far as to ship them together after what was said and done, their relationship can't go back to the way it was, nor can it take a step further.
I just wish Jihyun could get a story of his own so he can heal himself. I noticed there's a sequel and god why, do they need to reunite them honestly he needs his own story as the villain (MC) of the plot just to break free from his love of Chiwoo, which was undeniably toxic after having someone care for him after a long time.
I mean, if you notice the pattern of murderers and serial killers they usually had either a bad upbringing or solemn childhood where there were lack of emotions to really feel. This is just another unfortunate case :<
Came back here from watching Dawn of fhe Deep Soul---I haven't read the manga---and the latter half made me confused that I didn't enjoy it to the fullest. I mean it's great, just that when confusion struck me, my watching/reading experience enjoyment diminishes, though I don't really want to. (Maybe the subs suck? I have a habit of wanting to understand something thoroughly and it stresses me out.) I guess I should've just read the manga :/ Bonedrewd is such a great character! I heard that his character arc was not included in the movie. He's seriously Griffith level. And the last scene was totally unexpected! I really love this about Made in Abyss, suvh concept has massive potential. It's probably the best concept from all the stories I've encountered so far. How could a writer be a God!? ヾ(☆▽☆)
