We have the really good info that the uke understands him quite well and indeed questions everything about him (a correct course of action). Now about what will happen... I am sure that at this point that uke hates physical contact with him. And good for him. I really don't mind the seme getting tormented some more.

Ok the first one was a prick, the second one was a yakuza so he was signed for that kind of life. But the third one is a good tormented kid. I understand that probably he will die again (so that that manga can continue) but I hate to see a good kid die due to bulling. So I will stop for now

But generally in Omegaverse the omegas have monthly circles, the Alphas go into rut only when triggered by Omega pheremones. Of course I do not mind a variation, a lot of mangaka make their own alterations

Yeah, it's changes according to writers or mangaka and their design. In some of the omegaverses alphas also have monthly circles

Well let's speak Sociology. If women - men are 50-50% you have monogamy. If for example men would go down to 20% for a society to have sufficient next generation it would become a polygamy (one man - many wifes). Something similar was happening here. Only omegas can give birth, so I suppose a law was made that apart from the first child the next ones are given to other couples, since omegas are rare. Also alphas were rare, that is way the doctor was impregnating free omegas in heat (but he could not mate since a mated alpha cannot have sex with any other than his mate). That because omega's heat produces babies and a waste pregnancy would be damaging for a society with few "breeders". Waste meaning an Omega without a mate. If I remember correctly the majority in omagaverses are betas that cannot born a child. And if you think "oh no it does not work this way" I will ask you to remember the law that was instituted in China for many years that allowed only one kid per family (for the reversed reason, overpopulation)

The uke is 20 at least, I think 22 actually. The seme said that 12 years ago when he lost his parents he was very young so he is probably 37 to 40 max. Also I noticed (is it a Japan thing?) that men over 25-30 are labeled "old men" (shocking)

My friend and I laugh about this age thing a lot. It seems to be an asian thing, korea and china do it too. I've seen male characters as young as 24 get referred to as a 'geezer' or 'past their prime'. I'm amazed they dont take them to the barn once they turn 30, the way they carry on.

They have different values and perceptions on men and masculinity. It is more attractive to them for a man to be pretty, skinny, very young, obedient and to 'fit in'. In the west, we typically see attractive qualities in men to be willful, unkempt, older, muscular, strong and to stand out. As western men get older these traits emerge or can be enhanced whilst in asia they begin to lose that boyish appeal and are supposed to be set in their career and family by their 20s, losing worth and appeal regardless of whether they have achieved those goals. Asia is really fucked up about age, gender and sexuality that at times i cant believe places like Japan aren't a third world country.

I agree with your post in many points but I think that this is not the case all the time. Or to phrase it better through yaoi we are seeing a portion of the truth. What I mean is that even in these stories the seme most of the time is tall, with broad backs and masculine. I also read an article somewhere that the let's say "K-pop attraction " (I mean the effeminate style) is something that started roughly after ww2 and contradicts Japan's older male dogma. A lot of mangakas are very young people without real lifetime experience so their work sometimes oozes of teenage thinking (I mean even in our countries 16year olds think that 30 is old if you ask them). But even it is their core values, apart from their sexism which I believe will gradually disappear, Japan, China and Korea (and other Asian countries) have a lot of history, advancement and a lot to offer. I mean Japan and Korea are symbols of technology. They have same distance from the "west" way of thinking but hey, they are the "east". If they can acknowledge the female equality and also not kill themselves of too much work I think they are very interesting and I would like to get to know them better (something which will never happen as I am not rich and traveling there costs dearly)

We have 2 people. The one is a quite introvert that tries hard but always is ignored and feels lonely and wants someone to love him and stay with him. The other is a young man that knows that he is sick (and indeed dies at 35-37) and want someone to love him in this lifetime but also the next (since he knows he does not have a lot of time). Their devils both fell in love with them and granded them their wish. Oh well. While their wishes came true I am really sad.
