I keep coming back because I keep expecting it to get better, but it’s crazy how much Yahwi sucks. Like the author must be doing this on purpose? Truthfully, there’s no way a writer’s emotional intelligence is so out of touch with reality that they could think this mf is likable or redeemable? I swear the only ones who like him are probably middle schoolers who really don’t understand how unhealthy he is. I hate stories that act like behavior like this is okay.

Honestly, I hope there’s more development between them soon as a pair. Obviously I love the planning and plotting, but I want the occasional hints of fluff that make the main pairing believable as a couple. I’m still not even entirely sure why the MC likes her other than the fact that he’s not repulsed her touch. Obviously as a reader I like her (because I see things he doesn’t) and I see how she’s taking charge of her life and plotting to change her crappy past but he doesn’t see all of that. Sure, he now seeing snippets of her cunning mind (what she allows him to see), but weirdly, I’m not convinced on them as a couple yet. Like I don’t feel the obvious chemistry that you normally would by this point. Which is cool in a story that isn’t focused on that, but they keep showing him and her meeting, and I keep reading expecting to feel something looking at them together. But I guess a slow burn is good here and there.
Taewan has clearly lived his life too comfortable at this point. It’s sad that no one has given him a couple of good punches to the face by this point. It would be good for him
