maybe don't antagonize shi so fast, he's just a teenager clumsily trying to help the boy he's in love with and who knows, it might work. i speak from experience (tamaki's side tho) and im really vibing with how it's turning

He’s not being clumsy he’s literally being predatory. He has manipulated and gaslighted his friend from the beginning to get him into a “trial run” relationship even though his friend was clearly uncomfortable and tried to turn him down several times to which shi pretty much said “you can’t say no”....and now he’s pushing his sexual desires onto his “best friend” despite him sharing his trauma...that is not a friend that is a predator and that is being taken advantage of. Idk what exp you’re trying to compare to this but I have actually experienced something similar and it’s literally somebody using their friendship to push your boundaries and take advantage or you or make you think things that aren’t okay actually are...

i think it depends on your perspective on the matter this is an experience that can have both sides, either liberating (my case) or traumatizing (very very sadly, your case, and im so sorry to hear that...)
what i mean is that it's obviously dangerous, but it can become necessary evil depending on the outcome and the motivations. in my case, i wanted to continue but something in my brain was holding me back, and my partner helped me overcome that. in tamaki's case, shi is erasing his mother's influence knowing that it could lead tamaki to hate him. he's putting his friend's recovery (although once again, his method is awful but he's a desperate teenager overwhelmed by his feelings) above his desire to make tamaki fall in love with him. he's ready to carry the burden of being a monster if only it can help tamaki embrace his sexual desires (which tamaki admitted he had) even if it means that shi will be erased from his life, and tamaki will thrive on his own and/or other partners.
at least that is how i see it, but you're totally free to see something else. maybe im too easy on the prota, maybe im reading too much into it. however, i do not approve his way of doing things, there are still way better solutions. again, im sorry for what happened to you, and i hope you are okay merry christmas btw!

i love how the comment section is used for recommendations bc no one wants to acknowledge the fact that the mc is in love with his father

This one's pretty sweet :3
yooo 'silence is consent' is about yuma's question (aka whether mimori enjoyed the kiss) and not about the fact that the blond fucker r*ped him since yuma doesn't know how it happened!!! the victim is 'blamed' by yuma bc yuma isn't aware it wasn't consensual :(
anyway the blonde mf is gonna catch these hands like tf you doin mate
yeah, I think the translation could have been clearer. "Silence means yes/ silence means it is true." Something like that. The word "consent" was misleading tbh.
I hope Mimori tells Yuma the truth soon. I'm sure Yuma will understand. He's a good boi T^T
i agree, in this context 'consent' is a bit ambiguous
i think the translator also misunderstood Yuma's intention. The Japanese raws probably used some ambiguous word like "agreement" or "yes" and the translator misinterpreted it.
that's a possibility yeah!!
