I hate how they use the word "brother" instead of hyung like bro
This is about translation. If you're a translator, you should consider nuances like slang and how people actually use certain words. Hyung doesnāt just mean "brother" it also signifies respect for older male friends or people someone values. In this case, they are clearly not brothers, as anyone can see. Using "brother" in the translation creates confusion for people unfamiliar with the term, leading them to assume it refers to blood relations. A better alternative could be using "senior" or even the characters' names to avoid misunderstanding.
You could also simply keep the word hyung. Most people are familiar with the term by now, and if not, a translator could add a small note explaining its meaning. As a translator, itās your responsibility to ensure readers can fully understand the context and avoid conflicts or confusion. A careless translation like this can ruin the entire tone or meaning of a panel.
Brother fits enough. It doesnāt necessarily mean that you were born of the same parents. In casual talk you can see people calling their closest people their brother/sister, its the same thing! I do think hyung would help new readers who are confused, as koreaās use of āhyungā is more common and ingrained in their culture. But I believe most people would understand context, and the meaning of brother in this occasion!
I just canāt with this manhwa. It always leaves me with mixed feelings, mainly because Yanu is so annoying. Even after reading some spoilers, he screams red flag. He has zero rapport with Eyra because heās convinced his mate is still out there somewhere. Heās purposely keeping things shallow to avoid falling for his āplay loverā in case he actually meets his destined mate one day.
Itās like being in a relationship where the other person isnāt fully devoted or committed. That kind of betrayal cuts deep. On top of that, thereās no chasing arc, literally none, at least based on the spoilers. Itās so frustrating, especially since the MC has liked Yanu from the start for who he is. It wasnāt until that specific event that Yanu started liking the MC, and then, just like that, boom, everyoneās suddenly happy. Itās so unsatisfying.
Pls more of the mc and psychic!!! I love them smmm

Omh my heart is so heartbroken. I feel so bad for Cheongdu. like it broke into pieces l literally was about to cry
This is a quick and short summary but Cheongdo met his father, and they got along well without realizing their connection. His father had a gambling problem but was deeply in love with Cheongdo's mother at the time. He gambled in hopes of giving cheongdo mother a better life. In the end, his father passed away, but at that moment, Cheongdo didnāt know it was him. (I think he saw him die. The gamble is like you have to sacrifice your body part to win smt and he lost)
Later, he went to his fatherās room and found letters exchanged between his parents. Thatās when he realized the truth, his father was dead. Overwhelmed, he had a full-on breakdown, crying, hurting himself, and eventually passing out.
Here the thing he can feel emotions. he just blocks them out as a coping mechanism. When he woke up, it was as if nothing had happened because he had already shut those emotions away. In the recent chapter he met his mom again and hugged her. Even tho he say he can't feel emotions he does. He just doesn't understand them. He valid his mom and his dad. He love them a lot. He just doesn't know it.
Just to piggyback on this: from what I understand, Cheongdo's dad was not a gambler, he was a journalist and the team and he met during an investigation into a cult. I'll spare the details leading up to his death, but it was pretty tragic, involving self-sacrifice, and Cheongdo felt a lot of guilt, had a breakdown, then locked those emotions away in order to protect himself. It was such a great scene, we're getting to a lot of great scenes like that haha.
Which makes it all the more tragic ā„ļ¹ā„
Cheongdo couldn't have known his dad had such a strong moral compass that he would give up his life to save hundreds of worthless lives even tho he doesn't want to die... the comic captures that dread of not being able to take back your actions and rewind very well

Bro has a harem at this point bruh
