It's a cultural thing in Japan to place work before your personal life, to sacrifice much of your personal life, your personal time, your family time, for your work, and I rather dislike the moral of manga like these that say, "If your love is strong enough, it will endure you putting your career before your relationships."
It's just not always true... that kind of mentality destroys relationships, families, and it's an unfair precedent to set.
And although I say that, I do love this manga as I love Yousuke.
but there's also the whole thing of love wont feed you. You need to work to live even though it sucks. Not that giving up your personal time is good, but that's life
Yeah, a lot can change in 2-3 years and how a relationship can last through that I have no idea. It seemed he had a choice though, his job gave him time to decide, I don't think I saw where he would have lost his job if he didn't accept the transfer.
I fucking love this scanlation group. They are freaking hilarious, and they brought us this lovely manga!

Wow. The cover photo was pretty trashy, so I avoided reading this manga, but wow. The art is incredible, and the character are pretty interesting.

This manga is cute. Komasuna isn't really a tsundere, just insecure. The violence is more or less slap-stick, so I found Komasuna knocking out Kubo all the time more humorous than annoying.
Jesus christ... I really hope another scanlation group picks up oko-sama star... I mean, this translation is pretty much unreadable. *sigh*

Do what you will. I realize I'm a harsh critic when it comes to translation, and I'm not immature enough to think that I should be the one to decide if you keep scanlating the series or not. I understand that you do this for free and hope I didn't hurt your feelings.
I wish I had more constructive feedback/advice for you. All I can say is, as a native English speaker, I couldn't understand the translated story here, even after reading it three times.

It's a lot more readable if we are comparing it to japanese which I can't read to save my life. Let's just all appreciate the fact that someone sat down and did this for us. Let us all be grateful and thankful that we can even read this adorable manga in English.
