The body they are in now is biologically female. In one of the earlier chapters it said they were living as a man due to certain circumstances but they never really specified. The original body was called gay because they were known as being a man and they were attracted to men. Hope that helps :)

Fu jiu’s dad is like really into the patriarchy type of succession thing, and jiu’s mother knew that they wouldn’t be able to survive if jiu’s gender was found out. She’s from the countryside and gave like a lot of money for her husband to be able to get to where he is, but he abandoned her for his mistress, and if jiu has not been a boy, he would’ve never given anything to jiu or her mother. So she did it for both her and jiu’s survival as she had invested all her money into the company, despite being treated like sht by that ungrateful bastard.

Why did the art style change so much? I think it was around chapter 65 or so but the art suddenly changed.
I thinks it’s because the plot gets more and more complicated and the author is trying to show it.(This is just my opinion; I think the art style is really cools tho)
imho I think the art styler got a little less complex and more... simple? I feel like they artist completely changed because I don’t see any resemblance of the old style in the new one. But I do agree that the plot is getting really complicated lol
