They way Jieun reacts seems like she knows that the prince doesn't hold any affection for her?

Yep. She actually want revenge to Duke Zena, The Prince, and Tia. She wants revenge more on Tia i think? Cuz when tia Died, The Prince realized that she doesn't Love Jieun but Tia. She was ridiculed because all of her decisions as an empress brought nothing but disaster to Empire. Later on the ppl realized that it was Tia who made the Empire prosper because even as an Empress, Jieun pushed all her work to tia.

It's really a pity... That Tia probably only has one path in order to "save" the royalty. As much as I would like her to inherit the title of Monique, and get together with Cassein, Casein, Cain- (uhh I forgot his name. Simply redhead). She will most likely marry the prince so the aristocrat faction doesn't get into power. Now that Ruve knows the future, has feeling for Aristia, and so on.... The path of an empress doesn't look like a choice anymore, but a must.
As for Jieun, I think that she... Should know about the politics of that world? Unless she was that useless to let it all for Aristia? Or at least she should have known that the royalty is kinda against the aristocrat faction. I have no idea why she is such an asshole towards Tia rn, I am sure it will be revealed later or someone could help me with the screws in my head >.>
And she also didn't interact much with the prince. Maybe she is betting everything and believing that the prince has fallen in love with her on first sight? (just a theory, I don't need spoilers)

This comment has everything I want to say. She should just become the heir to house Monique, but it’s obvious she can’t because of all the drama going around in the royal palace. And I rlly wish she would end up with the red haired dude too. He seems like the perfect match for her. Like he goes as far as almost going blind to save her. I’m still hoping there’s a change and she doesn’t end up with the prince, but ik Thts probably not happening.
╥﹏╥

Oh my god. This manhwa makes me so angry after these 2 chapters. Because Alicia IS FUCKING GONNA END UP WITH ARES, FUCKINGGGGGGGG AGH. (didn't read the novel, but like it's clear)
"14 beads" and a scary look... So petty. Not to talk about the fact that he sided with the brat instead of Alicia, probably cuz of the mindset "Hah, if she did join the merceneries I wouldn't meet nor have her"
I.... The fact that she will most likely not end up with Lancelot makes me angry and sad
Reading the comments here and seeing the same response to this kind of genre... I recommend ya all to drop Asian comics the moment you see chinese art (I learnt to distinguish it lulz) and rushed or edgy storyline
It's biased tho, since I generally don't like chinese comics... The heroines are usually stupid and the male leads are sadistic and edgy. I only saw a few panels of the first chapter and then headed to the comments kek
Well, I agree with you that some Chinese manhuas are cliche and stuff since I read these a lot and eventually stopped when I saw the same plots but there are some really good ones out there that are original with interesting MCs. I’m not trying to change your mind or anything but the way you’re saying sounds like all chinese manhuas are bad. I accidentally found this comment on the front page and I just can’t ignore it. So I think that ppl should read the reviews first and then decided. This way they can avoid wasting their time reading these manhua while also find some good ones. (No bad intentions, just saying my opinions :))))))
Oh sugar honey ice tea I think I misread some parts. QAQ Yes I agree this kind of genre are bad ( well some ppls like it) I’m not sure if you mean by drop when you see this kind of genre or just drop all chinese manhuas all together. Ooo TT
Now that you say that, you are right! I was just salty when I read that manhua and my expectations for it were crushed
I don't try to diss on all manhuas, just most of those that have that kind of cliché genre. I am the unlucky person that only read the ones that didn't click with me and so I developed an instinct (or if you can call it like that) where when I see that "generic" art, I just drop it without reading much further
I understand how you might have thought of my comment though. Thank you for telling me!
Yes yes yes I understand you 100 percent! There is this one time where I came across a manhua with a art style that I really like and have high expectations for but no I was completely crushed when he plot was yet again “the mc’s oh so best friend drugged her and sent her to a room of a old men but OH MY surprisingly it was the male lead wow miracle!! I thought the male lead was going to leave her alone but then he said “oh woman, it is your fault for seducing me bla bla bla and tomorrow be like, Mc: Ahhh! Why did you go this to me!!! And hit him and run.” Then the male lead is like, “Ha, iNtErEsTiNg, Woman... no one has ever done this to me....” and a marriage contract because the male lead is RiCh.
Yeah suddenly rant because I’ve seen too much. Just glad you changed your mind.
Anyways, I have some chinese manhuas I’m not sure if you would like it.

I definitely agree with you. So far manhua didn't manage to attract me. I'm okay with same plot but I really dislike how the plots being handled. Some story had intriguing sypnosis. But I was left disappointed with the story telling. The flow is terrible, the characters keep on jumping out of character and suddenly, we have a love rival out of nowhere (and I really hate love triangle). And the worst part is, every character in every story didn't have any distinctive character that made readers attached. Instead of thinking that 'Oh, this is MC A from Mahua A', readers tend to think, ' MC A have the exact same personality as MC K with the same messed up backstory. I tend to view them as the same person'
If you understand what I'm getting at
It’s literally only this genre that 80% of there stories are terrible, idk if you’ll count “All cheating men must die” but that’s probably the best I’ve seen in this genre. Everything else like historical/martial arts or slice of life is mostly really good. But If it’s a manhua with martial arts set in present day or future, 50% of em are bad lol
I do exactly the same
