I've been thinking this for a while, maybe prosecutor Kuroda is Asami's brother... I don't know, what do you think? (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

That's what I tought after I knew he called Asami "Ryuichi"
haha
Maybe he's Asami's half brother...

What makes me think he isn't Asami's brother is in the scene where Kuroda stops Akihito and informally interrogates him. His questions about Akihito's physical relationship with Asami are prurient, personal and not pertinent to his investigation. Kuroda has some kind of deeply personal interest in the nature of Asami and Akihito's relationship.
Yes, it could be the interests of a brother but I think the clue in that scene is the rolled up paper Kuroda is holding while he talks to Akihito. He drops it and Akihito picks it up and notes that Kuroda has left the imprint of his fingers on it, a sign that he was clutching the paper tightly, a sign of intense emotion that seems to go beyond brotherly feelings.

Then he is a brother complex...
LMAO

That makes sense, I didn't catch that scene, didn't really look into the paper he dropped.
Maybe he has a brother complex, maybe he is a chilhood friend who is in love with Asami but I don't think there's any feeling of love between them.
The siblings relationship was the most convincent for me but it could be that they're something else.

Every time I see Asami with his hair down and casual clothes I feel like he's so much younger (than he seems with his businessman/mafia looks)
I hope Aki waits for him and also does some ninja moves (to save him or to escape, whatever), he's sometimes portrayed like the little princess that needs to be saved but he's actually so masculine and strong...go Aki!
