Am I the only one who thinks the Hunter Association President chose this day intentionally? He mentioned a few chapters ago that he didn't want Jiwoo to join any of the 5 big guilds because that would upset the power balance. That would mean that the Hunter Association would be unable to control them and they would be above the law.
Once he confirmed that Jiwoo most likely wouldn't join any of them, I believe he plans on using his friendship with Jiwoo and Jiwoo's antisocialness to hold power over the big guilds and make sure everyone obeys the law.
So I think he allowed the celebrity dude to hold the press conference there to give Jiwoo's re-awakening even more attention. He is too sly!

I don't remember which chapter that was, but I'm pretty sure that Yoo Jin-Ho's cousin said that the famous guy that shows up in this chapter was an asshole. That he pretended to be gentle and nice to the media but was a complete jerk to everyone behind the scenes.
He was already tested, got a A-rank and now is putting up a show to get more attention. I wish they had emphasized how much of a dick he was. It would make Jiwoo destroying his special day even more satisfying.
That conversation happened on a chapter where Yoo Jin-Ho gets drunk and sad because he can't get in touch with Jiwoo and his cousin comes meet him at the bar. If anyone know which chapter it is, please let me know. I can't find it.
