According to the spoiler forum, Rashta is overcome with stress because of Sovieshu now being cold and rude towards her, along with receiving a huge scar on her face. For the sake of her pregnancy and to escape the public eye, she leaves to a town to rest. While she's there, she meets with an ex-employee who used to work in Roteschu's estate. Apparently this servant is in love with her and therefore helps her out (he also helped her escape from the estate). She asks him to find her an assassin and he obliged. To test the assassins skills, she made him kill the ex-employee. Once he succeeds, she sends the assassin to kidnap Rivetti (Roteschu's daughter) since she's trying to become Sovieshu's concubine, and have him sell her off as a slave in a neighbouring country.
After arriving back at the palace, Rashta meets with Roteschu and orders him to find her an assassin as well, and he did. She also tests this assassin by giving him the task of stealing Duke Elgy's bracelet without harming him. I think the writer of this spoiler also mentioned that Rashta told Elgy about this beforehand and he got mad at her, but I'm not entirely sure. Later the assassin returns with the bracelet, but there's blood all over it so I think Elgy fought back against the assassin. When morning came Rashta rushed to Elgy to apologise but at that point he was already getting ready to leave. She pleads with him to stay, but he doesn't listen and while he's walking away she confesses that she's in love with him, and with his back still facing her he smiles mysteriously.
BWHAHAHAHA I have no words to say anymore all I can do is laugh in frustration at her stupid acts

These are spoilers from the novel which is way ahead of the manga. But to hopefully clear up your confusion I'll name the characters and their roles within the story.
Viscount Roteschu - Rashta was a slave previously and Roteschu was her owner. He came to the palace for the New Years celebrations, and when he saw Rashta he opted to stay in the capital so he could blackmail her. (On top of being a slave, she was in a relationship with Roteschu's son Alan and had a baby with him).
Rivetti - Roteschu's daughter. Her and Rashta have always hated each other. She's also a big admirer of Navier.
Duke Elgy - He's Heinley's best friend who also came to the palace for the New Years celebration. While he's there, he becomes close friends with Rashta and acts somewhat like an advisor who helps her adapt to high society.

I had a thought but it's most likely an unpopular opinion and I don't wanna cause any unnecessary discourse. Good story from what I've read so far though :)
Hold up...is she actually 15, or is he just underestimating her age by how petite she is? And how old is he? Dude looks like he's in his mid-20's.
I know times were different back then regarding age in a relationship, but come on...that's too big of an age gap if she actually is only 15.
She was taking by the king at the age of 23, and abused for 2 by her ex husband. So she is older than 25 by now.

Well this is happening at an unexpectedly fast pace...They literally just got married with that whole "don't expect love" clause, and not long after he gets jealous at the sight of her with another man. Make up your mind, dude.
It's like ... " I don't want her, but you can't have her either " sort of feeling...and the fact that she told him I don't want you to love me cause I don't love you kind of got him hard...

That's really annoying. Jennette says she wants to act as a mediator for Claude and Athy, but
1) I know for a fact that if she had to choose between staying by Claude's side and having him finally recognise her as his daughter or help Athy mend her relationship with Claude, then she'd definitely choose Claude and her own happiness.
2) Not once has she mentioned Athy to Claude or just asked him how he felt about her at that point because she's too busy trying to win him over.
well for your number 2 jannete would have to be close with Claude because he may kill her if she mentioned the princess now. but I understand she is selfish looking at how she wants to be lived without a care for others.
Yeah, I thought about that, but so far he hasn't killed anyone else that's mentioned Athy to him. He may get angry, but I think the chances of Claude actually killing her would be slim to none. I imagine the worst he would do at this point is stop meeting with her which is clearly something she does not want happening.
Jihyun being hot DOES NOT justify his actions. He raped Chiwoo, didn't allow him to have any friends other than him and outright controlled basically every aspect of his life. The ending that Jihyun got was what he deserved.
On the other hand, I'm glad Chiwoo is healing and is gradually allowing other people back into his life :)
