ML being shaken up is kinda understandable because he's a character that feels deeply despite how he looks (he was described with "passionate" eyes in ch 1). So he's still gonna think about the memories he cherished
Despite that, I don't think he'll ever take his shitty ex back. Instead, I think him sharing was more of a flirtation tactic, to get the MC to be more pro-active in being in a relationship with him
