This one was surprisingly good! A cliche you saw many time of an incubus with a task. But beginning to end this one had me hooked with the way the story was leading and how wholesome it was. (Despite how Aoi is acting toward his relationship.) The type of story you can’t stop reading bc you wanna know what happen next. And I wouldn’t mind having more of them either, they are so endearing, didn’t find it cringe either, to me it’s successful. Well written! Tho there’s lacking stuff here and there like what’s the point of passing and being free of responsibility and how people don’t seem to care much about the change of agreeing to everything from Aoi etc.. But it’s still so good

Can’t help but come back on it, but for a moment I really thought that J had the upper hand in the end when he said “Makoto” at first I thought they were at the same level and J fooled M in thinking he overtook him. And for that split of moment I thought it made sense bc the whole time J was toying with M showing him how naive he is, and well the whole time the author had us twisted and challenging our prediction.
But I do think both of them continuously taking the upper hand could’ve been a “happy alternative ending”
That, only if J had returned M’s feeling..

I am now wondering if J ever loved M at all.. or he was on,y seeking release.. and maybe that was what happened with W too? He used J to be release from this life or something

spoilers
i think that j probably didn't truly love m. the author is making it very clear that this whole story is just a cycle, which continues with m looking for someone to obsess over him so he can commit suicide too. so it is likely j felt the same way towards m. perhaps he only ever saw m as an opportunity. who knows. but i like to believe that j held a slight bit of affection for m even if it wasn't romantic in any capacity.

Just finished and looking emptily at the comment section. Ways to end speechless lol. It’s so intense.. Traumatizing and overwhelming too when you really get in the reading. I guess it was to be sure it couldn’t be another ending seeing how it was during all the manga. It’s comparable to nothing, truly something one of a kind. With an ending like this you can be sure it’s gonna be stuck in your mind for eternity. (Just like for M yikes) But that’s what I like to call a really good one because it stays in your mind and is incomparable. Wishing you’ve not read it bc how traumatizing it leaves you but also goddammit this really is one of a hell of an experience. Just a drop of how M felt at the end.. leaving you such a strong impression
At least the author didn’t loose it sanity and it stayed coherent too, that’s impressive. Considering it can get easily become nonsense rapidly with these type of manga, but even their craziness didn’t make it too much.

I had to share it bc I binged it and i thought it could be interesting to share or highlight these info! Bc with 2 seasons little details are easily forgettable or don’t stick out but it makes the story so beautiful. (I’m also just nerdy sharing info lol I love this story so much)
So first in Ch1 Hyo-un is awaken from his slumber maybe bc intuitively he had to before it was too late to save Taehyuk from his fate (tho I know it’s debatable whether he could’ve died or not if not searching for Hyo-un)
The shaman talks about a shift in energy in Yoo’s family but it could be about Taehyuk’s death? Bc we then learn that he died at the age of 33 in his past life and we know from present time he is 33 too
Also to note that the grim reaper says ch58 that “he has a predetermined lifespan of 33 years, afraid some are just gated for such brevity”
Did you guys knew that Ryeo-ah (the spirit servant) was the pendant Taehyuk gifted Hyo-un in his past life? (Ch40) Because I totally didn’t connect the dot and ditched the info in the chapter. But I was kicking my feet when I found out
Then I was curious about how long Hyo-un was asleep and really thought Ryeo-ah was “born” soon after Hyo-un fell into his slumber to take care of him but Hyo-un was said to be asleep for 300 years ch3 so I guess no. Ryeo-ah is said to be 103 soon in ch4.
Also I’ve been wondering why Hyo-un woke up with amnesia but when I reread I found out that it is said in ch56 that his memories are kept deep inside the orb.. so maybe that’s why..
Anyway, not mean to brag but my man fell in love 3 time with the same man can’t beat him at it
I think this one isn’t gonna be fairly rated.. the story was original even tho it’s a cliche beginning, the characters stand out but I don’t think it’s anything too special either. The development on the story and character was very poor, the only thing that is game changing is the new kind of trait it introduced and it might become the next popular thing in omegaverse as someone said.. but I still think it could have been better, it feels rushed and is confusing, especially on Ryu’s end, even if I understand the point of him not being honest and keeping us from finding out too soon that it’s in fact mutual love idk.. it’s not really coherent with his sudden mood swing. A moment he’s frail and vulnerable, another he’s someone who beat 3 guys and is an idgaf about you.. I think we could use a chapter from his pov, it would benefit greatly to their characters deepness and tying everything together. Also agree with some of the comment, it would have been more interesting to call it mutual attraction rather than love
