i don’t see how the prince is even an option at this point. although he is behaving kindly towards her now, he never bothered to learn about her in Vio’s past life. now, because he happened to overhear her and lose her affection- he’s more concerned about her. i’m not denying that he likes her or that he cares for her. i just think he doesn’t truly see her for who she is. Yulan TRULY knows her and loves her. he’s supported her through everything- and he cares about her regardless of whether she is well liked by others or not. also, the fact that she isn’t chasing over the Prince and he’s more interested in her because of that? SUPER toxic. Yulan is the only person ever.

honestly i have no clue who i’m rooting for. i used to really root for dowun in the beginning. and i still have a soft spot for him simply because he was the first person to show her kindness and he’s the one who made her queen and he’s loyal to her no matter what. but at the same time he’s inhumane?? i feel like he actually loves her but he has been taught or has been cold his entire life and doesn’t know how to deal with it.
the captain of the guard has my entire heart though, but i feel like it won’t go down well for either of them if she is with him.
and dowun’s brother is forcing himself to be like dowun so it’s hard to watch, especially because we saw him as a cute child.

i agree!! but i feel like dowun is loyal to her, regardless of his intentions. he DOES want to keep her in power and he does want her safety. even though he knew the other princess was alive, he never thought of her as an option.
