i'm just going to say it but i prefer the tapas translations.
Take no offense, I don't mean to condemn the translators efforts ( Thank you team for translating and trying to show us the best version of this comic! We really appreciate it) but even with Tapas' inconsistencies of names previously the storyline flows better. I can visually and auditorily? understand the emotions the characters are trying to portray in my head. I understand they're trying to convey the korean figurative notions but as a native english reader the fan translation feels choppy robotic and like a MTL novel at times. I think at times it doesn't really fit the manhwas timeline as the language seems too formal, (which I also understand is a thing of Korean culture) but I would never imagine someone speaking like that in English.

Hey they said you can chose. Both of them are similar. I think they are the same in the story flow, and the emotions. Better with the fan translations, Especially when Hajin is saying Hangyum Lee you son of a bitch it is better than tapas and closer to the real story. I don’t think it sounds robotic or choppy. I think it is because Your expecting tapas aim at western high schoolers? Or whatever audience. But the fan translation are different. Some one said it would be like a different story. It a different mindset and you have to read it differently from Tapas.

Ok sure, you're entitled to your own opinion, I'm not trying to dismiss the translators works. I will still read both and I appreciate the work.
I'm saying the general english speaking population, not limited to a teen audience - wouldn't say something along the lines of "If you don't want to drink tea with the expression on my face, go quietly." which is its literal Korean nuance for eg.

maybe its just cultural differences but i've never encountered any situation where drawing was frowned upon? if anything people are impressed with your ability. i understand otaku shunning maybe in asian countries but to stretch it to drawing? idk

I think it is like with reading. I am not sure where you are from, but here in Australia (at least the schools i have been to) once you become like pre-teen reading suddenly becomes un-cool and looked down upon. If you openly admit to being a bookworm or read novels at school your peers start looking at you as nerdy or a geek and in some cases start bullying you for that. Honestly it is just immaturity that causes it, but i think that this is similar to what the author it trying to portray with Yuri and her art.

where the fuck is this story going lol.
man it started off so cute between owens pining and jordyn and now i hate everyone and ship no one.
from the weird adults sleepover to owen fucking simon the characters seem to have lost their initial character definitions. it feels like it's just being drawn without a plan in mind of whats coming next nor with a grasp of the characters personalities. maybe it's just me but the realm of korean bl recently has just been an overload of smexy scenes with plot that seems to be dragging on to the middle of nowhere all the while concluding making me feel like "ok...thats it?"

So true....i think the author wanted to make unnecessary drama, because we still don't know Owen's back story and he clearly has some shit going on. Its like the 33 character and literally nothing has been said. We just know theres a love triangle, Jorydn and Simon work at the same company where nothing is going wrong. And Owen works at this club were SOMETHING might be happening. It would be too funny if we get to the end and nothing is said about Owen's job in relation to the story. Lol.
lol he whipped
