I wish the author allowed for the “fake death” to occur even if they’re ultimately both sad and broken at being apart. Then give the story “The End” before proceeding with a modern reincarnation where they have new lives and new families and one, if not both of them, remember their past life. You know, something like what happened in “Taming the Tiger”, but longer. Because as much as they love each other right now, there is no way they’ll end up happy. One of them is either going to break or die
I’m enjoying this, but part of me is oddly bothered by how The Namgung Clan’s daughter is hotter than the daughter of the Tiger Pit Daughter/MC’s Sworn Brother. Specifically because they keep claiming she’s so good looking and I hate when they do that only for the character not to be up to par. She was better looking as a man, just saying.
While I really enjoy these flashbacks through ML’s lense, I think the part that makes me sad here is knowing they never truly interacted in high school. They were just aware of each other. But something about that also makes the whole thing so much deeper and better for me. Looking forward to translations catching up to raws though

lol I really love how she thinks she’ll go back to pretending she’s this good nice wife once she finds her husband. Meanwhile there he is, seeing her true face. They’re really a perfect match considering everything. Can’t wait for her to know he really is her husband. She’s so sure she hates him because he’s nothing like the version of him she knows and she’s just driving him so crazy, he couldn’t even make her fail when he had the perfect chance to do so.
