I. CANNOT. STAND. THIS. FKNG. POLICE. OFFICER. Like... WTF?! So he suspected that the MC’s parents were killed and that his brother had been intentionally harmed, yet he didn’t do shxt about it for four years. However now that those kids are disappearing, he’s on the side of justice? Get the F outta here! Even now, those kids are still evildoers; how hard can it be to lock them up for it?
If he cared about that car accident case as much as we’re supposed to believe he does, then how come he didn’t find out that one of them was straight up running prostitutes and selling drugs?! If he thinks putting the MC behind bars is justice, he better think again. I hope the MC gets away with that shxt and lives happily ever after in whichever way he sees fit.
Also that black haired girl is getting creepy. I don’t like her. I thought the point of her presence in the MC’s life was for that evil leader girl to kill her so the MC would suffer emotional pain once again, but now I’m starting to think that she’ll just be another murderer whose victim will be the MC’s childhood friend she’s so jealous of.

I’m loving their friendship, actually.
So things went south when the crown prince’s love interest (pink hair) became the trio to prince Lydon and Luke’s friendship. I get the feeling that this time around, our FL will become the third member of their trio (maybe if Harry shapeshifts back into his human/demon form, they might become a Foursome) and things will change for the better this time around. It’ll really be an interesting dynamic.

“She shamelessly asked the emperor to hold her more and for longer!” Uh... okay??? Seriously, why TF are they gossiping as if the empress wasn’t the emperor’s actual wife?! Someone needs to get rid of those two maids.
Also, I still can’t tell whether Lady Lyn is down because she’s got feelings for the empress or not. I think she might, but it’s unclear so far.

Aw, Eclot. So handsome and cute all at the same time. Honestly, I don’t think Robia needs to worry. Eclot seems well on his way to fall for our FL and I don’t believe he’d be able to bring himself to kill her even if he found out the truth.
I’m guessing that’s the Marquis is Eclot’s cousin? I love how we got to understand that he perked up when she mentioned that the princess wasn’t NOT interested in Eclot through her, lol. He’s so expressionless that we otherwise wouldn’t have been to tell.
And it seems there’s a third royal family member. Looking forward to that second prince. He looks handsome from behind, already.

I thought I’d just address/share my thoughts on this, since the rape comments still persist. When it comes to yaoi, the answer to that is simple:
What counts as rape is when the victim felt they were raped. Not when the reader interpreted it to be rape due to the author’s inability to portray the scene as it should’ve been portrayed, had that been the case.
What counts for rape is when the victim feels they were abused. Did Andy want Martin to be gentle? Yes. Was Martin a dick for going at it like that request was never made to him? Yes. I mean, why bother asking if you’ll ignore him anyway? Did Andy who has basically been exploring his sexuality since Martin first approached him, actually enjoy the experience? Yes. Did it scare him? Yes. Did he reject Martin ever since the very first time he came on to him? Yes. He did. Every step of the way. Yet he keep going back to him despite it all, which then meant that he simply was in denial about what he truly wanted.
If I’d written this piece, I would’ve made sure that the readers understood that Martin is actually capable of understanding what Andy truly requires or enjoys from his partner. That despite his denials, Andy truly likes it rough and that scares him to the point of tears. However, the writer didn’t make that clear, which is why the readers are now split into three categories: those who saw their sex scene as rape, those who didn’t and those who are uncomfortable because they can’t call it rape, but they still don’t think it was okay.
Clearly, Andy doesn’t feel raped, which is why at the end of that last sex scene between them, these thoughts occurred to him: “It feels good. I want to do more.” (Hence why I said he’s exploring his sexuality + he truly likes it rough).

Idk how I feel about this argument. My reply might be filled with ignorance so correct me if i’m wrong. However, a lot of the times, don’t victims realize or feel like they weren’t raped at the actual instance because they convinced themselves it wasn’t, when in reality it was??? And isn't exploring your sexuality in an instance where you didn’t originally give consent still rape. Like isnt this just instead where writing takes on a common rape trope of “sex” -> feels good all of sudden. I worded this badly, sorry. ;-;

I agree with this. The whole "what counts for r*pe is when the victim felt they were r*ped" point is weird. There's many stories of victims themselves thinking if they were at fault for maybe getting drunk one instance or was it just something on their behalf, so maybe they think because it's their fault, they weren't really r*ped and feel afraid to speak up on it.
I completely agree with the point you made saying "an instance where you didn't originally give consent is still r*pe" and that it's definity a common trope in these types of stories and just in the "yaoi" genre in general, they always gloss over characters getting r*ped so it's not surprising to see anymore, which sucks cause now people are getting used to it and they'll pull all stops to defend it for some reason, maybe cause the character looks "hot" or sm. Idk what lanansha is trying to say and why someone would try so hard to justify a character that has r*ped another but it's just sad to see lol. I also haven't read even a chapter of this but I saw the comment and just wanted to join ig.

No. When you’re raped, you know you were. It’s not always as obvious, but there’s still a sense of wrongness about it. A sense of something that isn’t right, per say. Sure, victims can feel it’s their fault. It happens a lot. However, they don’t generally end up feeling like they want a repeat of the act, which is how Andy felt here.
As for exploring the sexuality part, I’m talking about Andy in general. Like how he acted like he absolutely hated witnessing all that talk about the two male leads being into each other and so forth, when the story started. We understood he was in denial about it because of how hard he blushed after Martin came on to him despite how disgusted he looked about it. He then categorically rejected him, yet deep down wanted more of it, so he kept going back for more. So I’ve observed their dynamics through the pattern of Andy’s behavior, rather than through the part of the sex scene that has everyone call it rape. If the scene ended with him in tears thinking it was too much or it hurt and he wanted it to stop, then yeah. Rape—but it didn’t.

I can see that at least half the readers hate him already, but I’m actually genuinely curious about the guy. I’ve no idea what’s up with him. He’s not as clear or transparent as you would think, mainly because he barely spoke since we first saw him. Plus there’s always been a crowd when he and the the FL met, so that already limited how much he could say.
I get the feeling that, that sister of hers is just playing games. As in, they didn’t have an affair at all, but it just looked that way since people are all kinds of loud about how “well they suit each other” or some bullshxt. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that the Duke is the male lead anyway, but I’m seriously curious about the Marquis. So I’ll hold back on the judgement for now.
I don’t like that “best friend” of hers. He’s a dick and a shxt boyfriend. It’s all well and good if you’re a worried friend, but he clearly has subconscious feelings for her. As a friend, his job is to give her his opinion, give the love interest a warning and back the hell off. Instead he’s just... THERE. I personally would be turned the hell off by a man who treats his girlfriend in the way he treats hers.
