Lmao, with every passing chapter, I’m realizing that I really enjoy the ML. The way he doesn’t panick or sweat and just rolls with whatever, and the way the FL is the only person who puts a dent in his controlled self just makes their entire dynamic even better for me. Can’t wait for the next one-and-one, which hopefully, Esdra won’t ruin.

And then she wants an apology in the form of a poker game afterwards… in the middle of church service… Like what’s going on?! I’m sorry, but Cesar is so hilarious to me. His quips to Esdra cracked me up.
