i know a lot of people are confused a bit by the story but I'm really enjoying the how the story is being set up. it keeps you on your toes, as new information comes in your perception of Nocton is constantly changing and how the story might turn out and I think that's great. makes the story very interesting to read

if Nocton clearly isn't the villain in this version of the story (because in the OG novel he did become the villain but because in the reincarnation Valrose made friends with him and taught him some humility and kindness etc he just clearly wants to survive and be with her; he is giving me the impression he doesn't really care about anything or anyone else but her because she was the only one to bother to be nice to him and befriend him, even if she did that having ulterior motives, though i don't think he knows that. while we are here, can we just talk about how sad it is to know he lowkey thinks she was also somewhat manipulated into being friends with him and that's why he says he never thought she was in love with him??? and that's why he never calls her by her first name????? lowkey breaks my heart ╥﹏╥) ... who is the villain? like there has to be someone mega evil they gotta defeat right? i mean the current misunderstanding going on with them thinking Nocton is the villain is very easily cleared up by just... talking. please don't make this into a story where the characters can't communicate for shit, those are so frustrating to read lmaooo Σ( ￣□￣||)

I think that the emperor and/or the duke of limorand (alice's father) is the villain. At chapter 10 page 15, ML states that he's been trying to brainwash the emperor but the duke keeps on getting in his way.
idk tho, it could be just because he wants the emperor position. But I think it's something to keep in mind (I never read the novel for this)

I think this was a very well written character growth. Good job, didn't expect something so reasonable in an otome isekai lol The build up to it was very good too. Like how she has encountered situations before where people had to die in front of her but not to this extent. Which kinda traumatized her and led her to now where she had to kill many people in order to survive. Very nice story telling, I'm enjoying this a lot and getting much more out of it than I initial thought I would ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
