regarding the case of Ella, i do think a relationship/connection is much more meaningful when it develops overtime than when it's love at first sight/fate. i feel like that will be a point this story will try to prove, because the couple will be developing the tools to effectively communicate and solve problems regarding their relationship/feelings. which wasn't the case with Ella, when there was clearly something wrong with her after they had kids but there was no communication to fix the relationship because they didn't even know each other that well. just my take on it though
