I don't like that the reason on the last page, of him giving that neko a name is still related to a piece of sh*t. I wish he just wanted to name him because, I don't know, he likes him or feels for him at least (cuz he's kind)? And I want that name to be cute and meaningful and to be the one mentioned in that last page instead of a jealous-of-a-piece-of-sh*t possessive statement.
I don't think it came from a possesive place. It might just be my interpretation, but i think it was a more "take back your power" kind of place. There a very few things more personal, than your name, by letting only the monster know and use it, the boy loses himself. By giving his name to our seme, he takes back his name. In essence his power.
Even if she becomes his empress later on, he'll still have a harem, right? Ugh. Just doesn't sit right with me though it's expected.
That’s the case in a lot of historical Manhua with emperor’s etc. It’s the normal kind of thing then. Even if he has a harem doesn’t really mean that he likes anyone of them, they could have just been arranged into his harem for political matters. Lots of other similar manhua’s I’ve seen are the same, but the emperor would only love the FL and it’s as if the harem members are strangers to him. Lol I think you might be too used to modern romance stories

Toning down someone's libido and perversion? Sure. But still a bit uncomfortable because of the MC trying to treat the "man-lovingness" of the elf, whose not seen as "normal" by his family.
