I don't think trying to make the guy fess up was too much to ask if he wanted he hand in marriage. The duke already had feelings for her without her deliberately trying. And even if they weren't romantic feelings, a clarification was definitely needed. Adele just wanted the duke to make sense of his feelings first before she enters a marriage that may have a lot of obstacles in the future.
I agree. Adele is smart, and she doesn't want to get into a onesided relationship with her already having admitted her feelings, but the duke being unsure. It would hurt both of them, and mostly Adele. So yes, I 100% agree with you.

Haven't read this yet. I keep seeing mentions about memory loss in the comments and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a frustrating part. I really wanna try to read this but I'm a coward. This is still ongoing and I'm waiting for this current problem to be resolved in the future chapters. Can anyone pls tell me when (at what chapter) Claude loses his memory? I'd want to pause reading before then. (￣∇￣")
He loses it at 46 which if I recall correctly is the ending of season 1. The memory loss hurts but it's not annoying. It puts to test their father/daughter relationship and I'm here for it at the edge of my seat waiting for Claude to go running after his daughter.
