Ok, I've read all of this artist's work, and I have to say that while her art style is immediately recognizable and very attractive, her characters are very difficult to tell apart from one book to the next. Sometimes when 2 stories are included in the same volume, I get confused about which couple I'm reading about.
Every element of this story is cliche and yet the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It is expertly crafted to give off the aura of the overripe fruit metaphor... So well done. Beautiful story telling.
