Jianyi must be feeling very lonely and hopeless and ridicuous right now and I want to hug him┗( T﹏T )┛
I agree. I think he is hurt because rather than addressing his feelings, its his sexuality that is being questioned. Zhen's question implies that he doubts that Jianyi likes him for being Zhen, and instead believes that Jianyi likes him only because Zhen is a man.
