I have never been fond of Ootsuki Miu's yaois, mostly because every story I read from her(? or him haha maybe idk) were the unrealistic and sometimes cringy ones (like the second story, I mean twisted love why not, but it's so common in yaoi and so clumsy sometimes, and I said it countless times, stop the rape ;~;) plus the art didn't really matched my taste, but I think this one (well the first and the last story) were actually great, yay fluff! In my opinion the artstyle changed a bit and for the better I love it as it is now, and OTOMURA IS TOTTALY MY TYPE goddammit ヽ(`▽´)ﾉ

I read this ages ago so I don't exactly remember why I said all that, but generally speaking, I'm not a fan of Ootsuki Mio's artstyle and stories, mostly because of presonal tastes and because, as I said previously, every yaoi I read before this one that were their work were the unrealistic/cheesy/cringy type (I'm talking about those multiple chapter stories where the plot is unnecessarily rushed without any depth in characters and all that jazz).
Plus, if I remember correctly one of the stories in Karasu Ni Diamond was about twisted love. This kind of plot is really dangerous because it can easily become just pointlessly fucked up content (I'm tired of seeing yaoi mangas where rape almost systematically leads to a happy ending between the rapist and the victim), and the second story unfortunately fell into this trap.
Despite all that, I liked the author's current artstyle better than their old one (again it's just personal tastes), and the first and last stories were actually not that bad (fluff is great and in one-shots I can forgive a rushed plot haha)

You mixed up the stories... This one was the sequel to Hana nomi zo Shiru, not Hana No Miyako. Also if you had read the manga correctly, you would've noticed the names of the characters are Arikawa and Misaki, not Akira.But, good news is, you now have a better manga than Hana no Miyako to read :)
