Honestly. I enjoy all this karma-will-get-you plot line but I do find it a bit unrealistic that there is not a single principled person in this story other than the hero (in the past ofc), like honestly, not a single person was actually sincere to this dude who, to all accounts, did everything he could to save the world simply or of his own altruism? I just need one person to be decent (and not dead), just one, and I can vicariously enjoy this without feeling like they are taking the plot gimmick too far.
Man, this is so trashy but I love it so much. The fact that they all are equally invested in each other is what makes it so great. It's not two on one, Ginga and Kouetsu have their own chemistry, independent of Yuuzen and that just adds so much to this because it makes it a true poly story rather than a triangle. I hope the translator for this also finishes the extras for the original manga that were never translated, there is some good content there
She's right back to the beginning. What did her tantrum even achieve? They made a point of her "growing up" and behaving and dressing like an adult but everyone still treats her like a child. I thought this argument would be a turning point for her not to be so coddled and dependent but it just landed her in the exact same place. Everuone loves each other, everything is forgiven, everyone is back to their original place. Why even introduce the argument at all if no growth is derived from it?
How to get your psychotic mother-con son to lay off his obsession... Turn him into a sis-con instead. I can see Cassius went the Cecil route.
Cecil refers to the ML of this manga/novel: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/jishou_akuyaku_reijou_na_konyakusha_no_kansatsu_kiroku/
Spoiler:
Cecil who finds that his son has a deep obsession with his mother (Cecil's wife) ends up learning and encouraging his son to turn his obsession from the mother to the sister, hence turning his son from a momma's boy to a sis-con. This way, Cecil, who is also obsessed with his wife, can have her to himself.
By the way, the novel is completed while the manga is almost finished. The novel is pretty short and readable!
To be honest I feel bad for Johan. I have no problem with her ending with Eugene because they at least handled it better than in a lot of other step-incest relationships, with them both going through puberty and maturing (ergo becoming their own persons with their own feelings and thoughts) while apart. But Johan does make me feel bad. He is clearly completely in love with Hari, and since she knows that she's supposed to marry him in the future (at least that's how it happened in her past timeline) she's let herself fall comfortably into the position of his future wife and because of this has given him every hope, since in her mind it's a done deal. She's made an effort to cultivate their relationship and is always careful and partial towards him, subtly encouraging him at every turn. When he finally proposes later in the series and she says no and goes for Eugene instead the poor Johan is going to be blindsided.
