So wait...Did Sohwa just get his memory of how he felt for Miha before the memory lost and nothing else? He still doesn't recognized Rihan and sees him as an adversary.
And who gets the vibes that despite his attachment to that dark haired damaged boy, the guy that's trying to take Miha might start to care for him at some level. I am not saying he isn't capable of harming Miha, especially since he is loyal to that dark haired boy. But I do think he has a soft spot towards people like Miha that have been through a great deal of abuse, just like that boy he loves.

I am sure of that, on both Sohwa and Sohwa's father. I think that dark haired boy was used by the father and maybe Sohwa and that boy wants to get them back.
But the guy executing the plan for him (can't recall either of their names) definitely has a soft spot for things/people that are hurt. He seems to be doing this for the dark haired boy's sake, but he disdains his father's business and isn't involved in it.
I don't doubt he is capable of hurting Miha, but I get the feeling that it could change because what the other boy has been through weights on him heavily.

I think Sohwa is in for a harsh realization.
He is expecting Miha to come back to him because he always does but that will be out of Miha's control since he has essentially been kidnapped. I think Miha wants to leave this but that toxic relationship with his brother has become a drug he is going to need help detoxing from.
And the bigger boy would keep him away from Sohwa for the dark haired boy's plans but also for Miha's sake.
Rihan may be the only link to tie that boy to Miha but he keep quiet to also save Miha and give a lesson to Sohwa.
I think Sohwa's father (I refuse to see him as Miha's dad) will intensify the search for Miha as Sohwa starts to get desperate and deranged over Miha's loss. When Miha doesn't return and when Sohwa decides to look for him and then not find him, that's when he will evaluate his actions and feel massive pain over his loss. That's when he will value Miha.
Sohwa loves Miha in a possessive, all encompassing way but he sees him as someone that belongs to him (because that way it would be easier to have him) so in his mind he doesn't have to try to treat Miha well. To him, Miha just wants him. So he humiliates him and feels resentment towards him (Sohwa doesn't know that Miha loves him, how could he?).
So because Sohwa loves him and Miha "doesn't" but Sohwa is good enough to sleep with him that makes Miha trash. It isn't just his dad's conditioning.

Definitely.
But supposedly they still don't know who stabbed Sohwa that happened more than 3 months ago from the current story line. And I also think that Miha not coming in within a few days would be enough to push Sohwa off.
I really think that Miha is too hurt, too frail and too in love with Sohwa not to try to hurt himself. If he isn't found before he were to hurt himself, I think that would drive that guy to let him go.

I am really having a hard time stomaching Chloe.
Everything else is top notch, though.

I don't find her annoying just disappointing.
With her background, her skills and life experiences she has all the components of being great. She also has a positive outlook despite her bad experiences that makes her admirable.
She is just too silly. If her role was for comedic relief it would understandable but she isn't funny either. She's cute. But it seems that all the other characters, even small one, are more interesting.
I don't want her to be super serious either but she takes me out of the story with her lack of observation especially with her background, all it (past life, professional life, life as a slave, life as an abused princess, life as a prisoner and life as a slave now to the man that killed so many people in front of her).
I also don't buy her fear, misunderstandings and hesitations with the ML when she makes so many errors that from her view should get her kill and yet she makes more reckless mistakes again. I don't think I am not meant to think she isn't afraid of him, I think her character is a little all over the place.
Even the perverted girl that got the spanking in the Duke's room is a clearer character.
The way I look at the MC is that the writer wanted to many traits for her and maybe got a little lost.

Now that you mention it, it is very unlikely for someone who has that much life experience and knowledge to be this clueless. I think she is very cute................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... but I mostly wonder when she's going to get eaten by the archduke.

I feel like people are seriously angling to have this particular story either stopped or removed.
I think the internet brings a harsh light to the nastiness of some people, not because it is a new thing but because it gives them a platform to showcase their nastiness to an audience.
Yes, I am reading this for free. Not the first or the last to do this and no, I am not ashamed.
This story can succeed on its merits despite it being pirated, which has always happened in every medium since people had the tools to do so.

Stop, just stop.
Fan translations of unreleased chapters can get the website into legal trouble that will result in the story being removed from here -> meaning that we won't be able to read it for free on here. Thus when people report the chapters to mangago so that they can get takes out, they are removing that risk.
Why are unofficial fan translations released before the official release a bad thing? They can cause the author to loose money as even impatient people who can pay will come on here to read the story instead. Thus the author will get less money for that chapter.

I understand that.
Contacting Mangago is the appropriate step to take and I have no issue with the fan chapters taken down.
But I am referring to the comments noting that the writer/author was @ on twitter (I guess) again. This incident, if true, is just the latest example of that.
I was ticked off after reading that, so my point may not have brought that out well.
Also for further clarification, my comment about pirating was for those always moralizing about people using Mangago, while they are also here, using the site.

I don't know if anyone's touched on this before but as messed up as this hot take will sound, I really think this is the closest to a relationship that SH has ever had or has experienced in awhile.
Despite everything that has gone wrong in the story between them, Nakyum always ends up telling SH something unguarded and unrestrained that touches him in one way or another.
When SH took advantage of a drunk NK, Nakyum's reactions and confessions to "Sir" really tempered SH's mocking and caddish attitude and he became really tender and pensive.
The night SH forced him in the Pavillion, NK expressed his anger and grief at SH's gall for taking the words and actions that were meant for someone else, bursting SH's bubble of reliving what they had that night. Both NK (understandably) and SH were a mess after that.
NK may hold back at times out of fear but that fear doesn't stop him from chastising, criticizing or calling out bad behavior from SH. And it is like a slap of SH's face every time it happens. SH gets taken aback, may or may not lash out but NK's words always linger after.
The scene when NK pulls SH away when he was in the middle of giving NK a BJ was great. Here is this lowborn, pulling away the nobleman SERVICING HIM, cupping his hands on his face while probably insisting that he should stop because someone's outside and SH is listening.
And before that, when SH discovers that NK is hard, Nakyum tells SH that it is his fault. NK didn't say this to be sexy or to garner SH's interest and SH knows, this making their exchanges charming and natural. Someone uttering confusion and embarrassment out of a sincere response rather than the practiced artifice of performative seduction.
When he was at play with the other noblemen, THEY were very deferential towards SH. Jihwa stopped SH from giving him that type of pleasure because that was Jihwa's job, not SH's. Even among the nobles, these encounters have the feeling of been transactions. They were intentionally detached.
Of course, two of those noblemen got pissy as a result of SH's obvious interest for NK. And though SH listened to them and then lashed out, their words did not linger, or feel him with doubt or hesitation in regards to NK. Their words just help to solidify SH's desires.
Things that others could not get away with. Things that would have permanently removed the nobleman from SH's presence and home, are listened to and considered for NK's sake.
This doesn't mean that SH will do what NK hopes for. Both NK and SH have very different goals. SH will just consider it then make an executive decision. If that decision, happens to coincide with NK's wish, lucky him.

Oh my...
(● ̄(エ) ̄●)
The medicine is confirmed to be causing arousal. I still say NK didn't take it that day but may still be under its lingering effects.
That story about the servants was weird, confirming SH has always been a pain in the ass.
Then NK turns him on more by telling him his erection is SH's fault. Oh NK, you just threw gasoline into a live fire.
loved the Jihwa scene.

Yeah, when chapter 35 was not translated I felt bad for Inhun because just like SH, I thought that NK doesn't learn and he endangered Inhun.
But now that I see how that piece of crap carelessly showed NK that he doesn't give a S*!# about him, I am all for Inhun skewers. He didn't even know that NK was sick for 10 days, what an SOB.
The way he blew him off and showed with every word how he didn't care about NK, but "you were not too ill to forget what I wanted from you, right?" What a jerk.
The only thing he was good for was to put into perspective for NK that SH had done something unusual for him by having a doctor come treat him and then pay for medicine for NK. NK is also aware that SH has done other things like moved him to his room because it was better for his recuperation.
Also, there's no way that ass did not know that NK was being dragged away for very different reasons than just anger from the lord. You could see it written in his face.
He saw the scandal with Jihwa and SH caressing a lowborn after the confrontation, he knows he was offered a possible government post out of nowhere because of NK alone and he saw that SH was completely focused on NK before he dragged him away.
Though, I appreciated the fan translations, let me tell you on Chap. 35, there were a couple of moments that were completely going in another direction than what was posted today. Specifically, on the last NK and SH scene.
I also missed the characters' voices. The official translations are so good, I can imagine how they speak.
Thank you Poster
