I used to think I'm an S but thanks to this manga I'm not sure anymore...
I always thought I had an S personality. I like to be in control of most situations, I have a leader quality to me, always taking the initiative etc. Until I realized that regular life and sex life can be so different! Maybe manipulate isn't the right word, but play it out in such a way as to make the S seem in control and dominating
Although more shounen ai than I like to read, this story would definitely be among the top 5 of my re-read list. The incredibly sweet and touching story makes up for the lack of gratuitous smexyness.

Great story and character development. Uke is nobody's fool but not overly tsundere. Seme is sweet and convincingly committed. Plot is believable and realistic. Conflicts are not overblown or left hanging.

I understand the seme completely and sympathize with not only his personal confusion but with his actions too.
Don't get me wrong, violence is inexcusable regardless of the reason. I don't condone his actions. I do, however, understand the turmoil and fear he must be facing.
He acted out of fear of being rejected, fear of being vulnerable and fear of being gay. Tri-fecta.
I really like the non-traditional story line. Relationships like this are difficult and require all parties to be pretty thick skinned. An overgrown ego or raging insecurity will destroy everyone and everything. This story has a pretty good balance of personalities. Everyone deals well with their own issues.
The "ending" is the only "thorn on the rose". Things seem too "up in the air". Perhaps there will be more.
I'd have liked to see that "flip flop". That is how you do a short chapter... no filler, no fluff, just get to the story and resolve it.
