maybe bc everyone know that camilla’s the beloved daughter of the duke even tho they’re not blood related but then suddenly the real daughter that the duchess herself conceived came home, which the duke loved so much and looked so much like the late duchess so ofc people would think that the duke would favor the real one more and would prolly don’t have enough time for camilla or smth. that’s just what i think..

This communication problem is just getting worse and I think even worse things are gonna happen. This really looked like jj has no feelings left for him even tho leo already thinks that. But the fact is he still has feelings for leo and if he is gonna keep treating him like this leo will lose feelings eventually. Will jj regret this later after he’s done taking his anger out on him?
Ugh it's so unfair. Why make JJ be the one to regret? He was the one who gave more in those 5 years and now he's the one who is wrong because Leo is now the glorified victim. The author hates JJ at this point to make such changes to the plot. Character assassination and it's just ch 15.
YES the story was perfect until the latest update. Leo was a bad boyfriend but now jj is the one acting so stupid. This made me sympathize with both of them of them. And this made the story so interesting. Like how they will get back together but jj is turning out to be a red flag acting like this and Leo is just a stupid airhead.
That type of behavior should have been established earlier on. It's poor writing. It's so apparent that the plot has been changed and now it will be a struggle to write JJ. I'm not as appalled towards relationships that start with rape then turn love, I've read a lot and many have transitioned them well. Characters are well developed and consistent for the most part. But this, it's different. JJ was set up differently then in just one chapter changed everything. It didn't even transition well. Sure JJ can turn bad but it has to be established well how he got there.
The only thing that comes to mind right now is JJ not believing Leo once he admits his feelings and thinking that “it’s because of the sex” since at some point it’ll get even worse for them to be in a relationship like this. The rape was unnecessary he could’ve just been a massive asshole without all this….Idk there was a better way of doing this… because there will probably be a new love interest for Leo…Which I don’t mind but not like this….sigh what is wrong with authors these day smh
Leo was very punchable, he could've done that and the story is saved. Deep throat and leave was also another option, if shouting is not for JJ. Punching the wall or toppling stuff behind Leo is also a good option. The type of anger JJ expressed wasn't warranted. May be later on if Leo does something even more horrible, but not here. The transition is just bad. It's so abrupt. It's not the rape that was upsetting, it's how it was used, there's nothing to establish that behavior from previous chapters.
Yeah I didn’t want to say it but it was basically rape. They were together for so long and after seeing the chemistry they had it’s just disappointing.
Asking for fuckbuddies was not enough to warrant that much anger. Leo would have done something even worse. Author went unnecessarily overboard without proper premise.
Exactly, punching the wall could’ve been a better option….I just don’t think this was the moment for JJ to explode the way he did. However I am curious to see how the author is going to turn this around
I agree. Punching the wall, walking away, sighing… anything but this. Perhaps the author through, JJ has been holding so much anger inside but then again they had an argument way before the race accident where he was able to say quite a lot of things. Idk this could’ve been handled better. But let’s see how the author will turn it around, how will the character development be for both
I'm trying to think from the author's pov. JJ was expecting Leo to say that makes sense. That's why he misheard it. It is upsetting. Then maybe the editor needed some spice and action so the deep throat at the end of ch 14. Personally, I was still fine with that. It could be still handled that makes sense: anger, shut all in one. It's parallel with ch 1, having sex anywhere. But they went overboard that the character was lost. Honestly I'm just here for the art but I don't think the author can save this. Mess up the premise and pacing, you mess up the whole story.
I actually really liked the story, the potential тт but yeah how will the author turn this around I really wonder. I hope this won’t be like jinx tho it’s giving the same vibes right now and I don’t like that.
And poor JJ, it wasn't set up like that. I feel like JJ is that person who isn't bad but set up to be one. The feeling is very similar.
