Was pretty satisfied with the "happy" ending but then I remembered the time I learnt what the average life expectancy for people who've gotten heart transplants is and now my day is effectively ruined ♡ I'm just gonna stay delusional for the sake of my sanity ♡
i just googled to ease ur delulu: “The longest-surviving heart transplant patient has been recognised by Guinness World Records. Bert Janssen, 57, from the Netherlands, has survived almost 40 years with the donor heart he received at Harefield Hospital in Uxbridge, north-west London, in the 1980s.” He got it at age 17 and he’s still kicking.
guess someone’s gonna break that record in the fictional world (i have not read the manhwa but i was devastated by ur discovery and now i’m ok ╥﹏╥ but i’m not gonna read it for a while)
read this years ago and randomly decided to reread this today for no reason at all and i still don't get ppl saying mc and the producer had more chemistry tgt. reading the sides made me realise that jiho and woohyuk really deserve one another lmao like who else would match their possessiveness and delusion but each other. Freak4Freak representation
miss boring in the replies...couldn't be me. anywaysss. i thought this was really well-written and i ADORE the dynamic between the two of them. i love the way the author draws expressions and body language; so subtle, yet so potent. you can really feel the affection they have for each other. such a refreshing read from most bl titles on this site. the girls who get it, get it. and those who don't, well. i hope you too, will get the chance to experience a love this sweet.

does anybody know what pet name ukano calls sachio in the og jp version? i'm curious
im curious too
In the jp version he's just calling his name sachio さちお and not babe...
I wonder why it’s translated to Babe. It kinda changes the tone and the readers’ perception imo
I think it's probably because in Japan, calling someone by their first name shows a lot of familiarity. So like close friends, family and lovers amongst others. So Ukano probably means it in the terms of calling Sachio dearly.
On the other hand, I feel like the reason why Sachio says Ukano in the translation shows how he wouldn't outright call him babe and such, i think
In the manga Ukano called just Sachio all way through... I think the translator was try ing to westernized it for changing it to babe... Coz whenever the translator use endearment babe Ukano was either sweet or apeace smth... Idk
oh that’s kinda weird. like it was basically added for no reason? lmao
It’s my problem with official English translation, they kinda make them westernized and remove honorifics, it just doesn’t make sense and couldn’t capture the nuance and what intimacy is like in Japanese culture.
